We're talking about the Ten Commandments. He applied 'Thou shalt not murder' to a broad scope beyond humanity. I'm not quick to buy that, so I'm applying the other commandments to the same broad scope and seeing how long he will keep agreeing, because when we get to the part about the 'neighbor's wife' coveting, it is going to get very hard to explain how a fern could be your neighbor.

i meant exactly what i said , meat is cheaper , to be a vegetarian you need to make sure you eat all essential proteins and farmer gain large amounts of profit through cattle raising and to farm land you need a lot of land
Actually raising cattle takes up a lot more land than growing crops. Yes, the protein part is right, that's why I'm not a vegetarian, but I'm sure we're have another solution besides soy sooner or later (genetic engineering for the win?).

Well, bestiality... and uhh... whatever having sex with a planet is... probably isn't recommended.

When it says loving your neighbor, does that extend to ALL neighbor life? Like... ferns? Am I commanded by God to love ferns?
I don't think so. Neighbor has connotations of community. That doesn't diminish what I've said earlier.

And most animals don't need to be killed for humans to survive, if that land was dedicated to vegetation there would be much more food and much less death - people just like eating burgers though.
Meat is a necessary part of our diet, not as much as most Americans eat nowadays obviously. We are not herbivores.

I find it humorous when people read the Bible, and then tell everyone what it REALLY means...And I believe the answer that naturally follows is...thou shall not murder
anything
.Such confidence. I would be more hesitant to assert what God means.

A) I said believe.
B) I'm interpreting less than anyone who says it only refers to humans...there is no object in the sentence, it's indefinite. I'm just putting in a word that signifies the indefinite.
C) He asked me, so I answered.

Actually no. Less than 11% of the Earth is suitable for crops. And what to you propose we do with all those farm animals that are currently waiting to be slaughtered? Meh, slaughter them and throw away the corpses.
You can't kill them. We still need butter, and eggs, and milk, so we keep feeding them crops and don't get the food input of their meat.
Then think of the economy too, massive companies like fast food chains go bye-bye.
So we all live off plants as vegetarians, unless folks like Greenpeace shut the %^&* up about Genetically modified crops, millions of people will starve to death. Great future.

I'm going to see if I can dig up the statistic, but from what I remember reading, people in the US and the UK eat 2 to 3 times as much protein as they need every day.

And why when i say something hyper says he doesn't understand but when you say the exact same thing but in different words it perfect logic
Perhaps because he says it in a way that's understandable.

Indeed. I have some respect for MyTie because at least he seems to understands when you're communicating, the goal is to convey your message, not try to confuse them.
