The thing about Hemo, is that it's a Damaging Move that buffs incoming damage for a period of time, aka the 10charge countdown each time you do damage or another party member does... As a sub, you should be ambushing and backstabbing for damage, in PVE and using Hemo like Hunger For Blood, vanish and or shadow dance to re-ambush if needed, etc, and using ur combo point moves accordingly... in PvP it's all about the speed kill with Ambush and well timed eviscerates, I've even found that basically in pvp, Premed/Shadowstep macro followed by an Ambush to an Eviscerate/Vanish Macro to another Ambush, tends to kill a target before you'd ever need to think about using Hemo, and well, if that doesn't work, then I usually would Kidney Shot after the second Ambush, then spam a backstab or two if needed (Normally only needed against Plate wearers if unlucky)... So really what I'm saying is to be honest Hemo, doesn't need to be fixed to much, because in the end a sub shouldn't need it as they're primary damage move, just isn't the way they're built.

Yeah, though they don't want to make being a rogue spam this or that. But after reading the interview on Rogues, I feel rather cheated, that they'd admit to Vanish not working like it's supposed to and then contradictory say they're not going to fix it cause it'd be to powerful... ahem, like Paladins don't already have such skills? -.-
Just gets disheartening, and I fully understand what you meant, I was just saying Sub, is more of a perk spec, and works the way it was designed, yes it takes more skill but that's the point, Assassination used to be in Subs shoes and since WotLK has risen up pretty fast, though neither spec out dps's the other for rogue to too much an an extreme, unless it's being put up against a Fail Rogue who doesn't know his spec :S or has a bad rotation etc...
Though also as a Rogue I can perfectly agree with you that Sub needs changes, and Rogue's period need changes, they (pre-bc and during for a while anyway) used to be the top dog at melee dps cause it's all they do, and now they're mediocre and it really is frustrating...
On a side note, I have friends who play rogues also and they stopped playing WoW because of such things, people don't want to pay 15$ a month to play a game that doesn't get balanced well period. Or where the essentials to a class don't get fixed to make sense. Lots of people just aren't patient enough to continue to care if they're getting that overly shafted etc...

Hemo is one of the few specs I have not tried, that I actually was interested in trying. I didn't in the past because I was a Combat Swords raider in BC, and had no intentions of respeccing for PvP constantly. With dual-specs I would be willing to give hemo a whirl for PvP, provided that it was buffed.
With a 20/0/41 build in PvP back at level 70, you had the following:
Not caring about the type of your weapons.
Feeling like a happy mindless WotLK ret pally (You press THIS button then THAT one. Rinse and repeat).
Mobility that Shadowstep brought was immense (It used to break snares before 3.0.2)
