What is your opinion on him? Do you think if he had stayed as the leader of the Alliance, that we would have significant changes in lore? If he never got killed by the wrath gate?
I've noticed alot of people say they wish Bolvar was still alive, though saying its because of Varian, I'd like to know what you think he would do different beginning with the first invasion on Stormwind Docks.

I dont know much about him though from what ive seen in the wrath gate trailer things probley would have went much smoother with him there

Bolvar was the Highlord of Stormwind while Varian was gone. His personality was very different from Varian, though honored Varian more then anyone else and the two were almost like brothers.
I'm sure someone else could explain it better then me.

I liked Bolvar. I wish the Wrathgate hadn't happened, I could totally see a friendship between him and Saurfang the Younger being fostered.

If Bolvar was around, I think the Horde/Alliance problems wouldn't exist at all. Varian would, for a fact, listen to Bolvar, and Bolvar was probaly one of the first people to know what to truly do to end the war with the scourge, which was to stop fighting the Horde.

hmmm you think varithimas would understand this would happen and used wrathgate to get rid of bolvar to soften the world up for another legion invasion? That could definitely have been his backup plan. But his primary plan was to bring part of Sargeras back to Azeroth.
Also, I think I have proof that Turalyon would not still hate the Horde. Been reading BtDP, and he talks/thinks alot about not fostering racial hatred.

Do you think Bolvar could perhaps even change Garrosh? I mean, he'd be able to turn Varian easily with a bit of effort, what about Garrosh?
I really wouldn't know that answer myself since I haven't really dug incredibly deep into Garrosh's background.

Garrosh had the stubbornness of a mule. No, I take that back, he's as stubborn as a wooden pole. You ever tried arguing with a wooden pole?
Strength is the only thing he understands. That's why he needs to get his ass kicked to the point of implosion.

The Ring of Blood with Thrall deciding not to go easy comes in mind...

Ask a faction leader? That's new since I don't check those sites, I'll be reading that in between posts.

^ I hadn't read it yet (I don't tend to regularly read wow.com). Thanks for the hilarious link.

Genn Greymane's was good too... :P
All told, we had our reasons for doing so, but for one, I had a bit of a difference of opinion with the other Alliance leaders as to what we should do to the orcs after the War. Terenas -- sorry, the late King Menethil, Light rest his foolish soul -- thought penning them up in camps would be the best way of handling the "situation", where "situation" is "orcs existing at all".
My recommended treatment -- that is, a hole in the ground -- wasn't taken seriously, and I wasn't about to give my nation's resources to an Alliance that would keep green-skinned savages alive on my silver.

Yeah, I read the Genn one. Hilarious as well.
Have they been doing this Ask a Faction Leader thing before now, or is this a new thing?

Genn was the first, so whenever they posted that, it's when they started it heh.

Saurfang responds:
He's come a long way, he really has. He even made a to-do list the other day.
Garrosh responds:
Yes! Yes, I did. Look:
1. Destroy Alliance
2. Destroy Scourge
3. Destroy previous record for most Brewfest Pretzels eaten
4. Destroy old kitchen wall and use French lighting to really open the room up
5. Destroy preconception that male orcs aren't good dancers
6.
Destroy
Send Greatmother Geyah a letter
so funny
this ask a faction leader made me like Garrosh even more
