Just curious but if this means that the Glyph of Flame Shock will allow the dot to crit would that mean that the Glyph of Lava will take it's place as one of the must have glyphs?
It's actually still quite a bit of DPS it adds, but since it's the same effect as 2-set Tier 8, it can easily replaced if you have that.
If you havn't got that set bonus, then no - Lava seemingly doesn't add enough to be "up there" (
Bink did some EP stat stuffs
).

Shamanism: Your Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning spells gain an additional 3/6/9/12/15% and your Lava Burst gains an additional 4/8/12/16/20% of your bonus damage effects.
At least, the usage of Chain Lightning in a rotation won't be as debated as it has been.
It'll be nice for our DPS to scale a little better now with gear upgrades.

It's a larger buff to chain lightning than Lightning Bolt!
All good changes for shaman, it's good to see blizzard actively tweaking numbers to try and keep classes close.

I think that was exactly what zolikk meant :)

Looks like a nice boost to the ranged DPS of all Shaman specs... I guess i'll have to make room for FS/LvB on my main action bars once again.

Yes, yes, I knew that... I was just... clarifying for those who didn't realize what you meant.

You have absolutely zero evidence of that. I'd refrain from making comments until we've done the initial TC on the changes. The biggest problem is changing how you work rotations.
