Still a nasty case of 404. Shame. I just noticed this topic and thought I'd check out the images.
Anyone happen to know what's up?

There are a few posts about what's going on on the host site:
http://priest.thehuntersmark.net/
... Basically they didn't anticipate how much stress the project would put on their host server, hence the downtime. They are apparently waiting on an answer from Wowhead as to whether or not getting the project hosted here is still on the table... The last post on the site was a month ago so who knows where things stand now.

Long story short: still haven't heard back from the folks here at WoWHead.
As for the 404s, we're having some issues with the database our pages are stored in (as a result of a hard restart we had to do to get the site back up in the first place) and we're working on a fix to get what we already had back up.
The last post on the site was a month ago so who knows where things stand now.
That's largely the result of that site being one of many I run, and it happens to be low on my priority list for daily posts. Also, I've been waiting on uploading more screenshots until I hear from WoWHead. (No point in wasting time and resources uploading what I'm hoping to just move elsewhere.) Plus, I've been busy during the holidays.
The project isn't abandoned. I'm just waiting on responses from people to see what needs to happen next.

Thanks for the update Lassirra. I hope things get worked out. It's definitely a worthy project to support. 8)

Miyari linked me this post and I was shocked because I couldn't remember the email. But I searched through and sure enough, there it was. I'll respond immediately.

I hate what they're doing to Desolace in cata, it was one of my absolute favorite zones due to its dreary wasteland look. :(
Really? You're the first person I've seen to say that. I personally like the new green look it will be getting in Cata, it will definitely add to the fun factor. Desolace is really bland and boring in its current state.

To keep folks in the loop (and hopefully get WH dev attention again): I did receive an email from WH about this again, but it was to the tune of "We'd like to talk to you about this, what way is best?", I responded, and was never contacted again. That was on Jan 4th.
I love WH and the dev team, but it seems like email is a really unreliable way to contact the devs and I'd rather not make my contact information public. So, I'm hoping this will do the trick in getting them to go looking for the response I sent so we can move forward, since folks seemed to really enjoy the project and I'd like to give it a more permanent home here on WH.

Since the server seems to have been fine lately and there's been no word from the WH devs recently, I've added a couple new galleries and will be adding even more within the next few days.
Dustwallow Marsh
Stonetalon Mountains
Thousand Needles
So far I've gotten up all but two of the zones reported to be changing drastically in Cataclysm (still need to do Hillsbrad Foothills and Silverpine Forest). I'll be doing those next, and then finishing any other zones I've missed after that.
Once I'm done with Azeroth, I may move on to Outland and/or Northrend. I haven't decided yet. Either way, I'll keep folks posted.
