Hello everyone, I'd like to introduce my new project, an online character auditor tool at
http://be.imba.hu
. It's aim is to identify various correctable PvE character defects.
Ofc it is wowhead powered ;)
Current features:
- checks your gear for unenchanted items, and suggests proper enchants
- checks your gear for misenchanted items, and suggests proper enchants
- checks your gear for empty sockets
- checks your gear for low quality gems
- checks your gear for low level items
- checks your talent build for possible talent problems
- evaluates your talent build's aim (pve/pvp/farm)
- checks your +hit level and tells you if you are over/under capped, and how much more +hit do you need or how much +hit you can free up
- checks tanks' chance to be crited, and how much more def/res you need or how much def you can free up
- performs a general gear level check and suggests instances to visit for upgrades
Please note that talents wise not all classes/builds are finalized yet.
I hope you find it useful, any kind of feedback is appreciated.

the individual talent evaluations definitely need some fine tuning here and there, it will try to get close to perfect over time.
many thanks for the positive feedbacks.

Any druid without imp motw is not a real druid...
Or, er, a feral druid. If you put points in all the necessary talents, you end up with 6 points left. There's far better places to spend those 6 points than in Imp. MotW, depending on whether you're a tank, dps or both.
This is especially true in a raid, where you usually find more than just the one druid. A restoration druid, or even a balance druid (since they need to spend 10 points in the resto tree to get to Subtlety and/or Intensity, both of which are pretty key talents for the usual raid build), can buff Gift of the Wild.for you instead.
Running characters through... let's see.
My main (feral druid) warns that I have a "misenchanted item". I have +15agi on my gloves, and it's a perfectly valid enchant for both DPS and tanking. It's also suggesting +12int to shield as a replacement (!), as well as Glove Reinforcements (which are, really, pretty useless for a druid, since armor from armor kits doesn't multiply in bear form).
It's not complaining about +hit, which makes sense since I'm hit-capped in DPS gear; but it
is
complaining about me not being uncrittable, which seems silly since I'm in DPS gear. Would it complain that I'm not hit-capped if I had logged out in tanking gear? :)

Doesn't work for any character I tried on Ahn'Qiraj EU. It says "Character not found in Armory. Please check if the selected realm and character names are correct."

there was an issue with realms with ' in their name, it is fixed by now, thanks for noticing it. if you happen to find any kind of anomalies please post them in the site's forums.

After typing in the realm name, the realm name suggestions did not disappear when I moved to the next field (FF 2.0.0.12).
As Aeliel, I had an issue with my druid's DPS set, where the +15 Agi/gloves enchant shows as misenchanted.
Warns of low hit rating for a feral druid; while true, this is largely irrelevant for the class.

Oh very nice. I'm not sure if it's correct that I can heal SSC yet though.
In any case I love this. i take this as a way to help the WoW community, not a shameless plug.

it was a typo that accidentally referenced +int on shield instead of +15 agi on gloves, thanks for spotting, fixed ;)

this is something that needs a workaround, true, working on identifying the kitty and bear gears.
Only problem is that it classed 5/5 supression for Destro spells too, so it told me I was over the hit cap by 74 points.
yes, another thing that needs to be imlemented.
And thanks again for the kind words, everyone!

If you are more or less dressed in Kara/hero badge/Gruul gear it will suggest SSC/TK as places for obtaining linear upgrades.

Interesting idea, though some of the recommendations are decidedly subjective.
I ran my druid though it, and came up with the following:
Low level items: 1
Rejuvenating Gem
Nature's Grasp: smells like PVP
Sounds about right, I've yet to have either trinket I want drop over the past few months, and the Rejuv Gem is still the only trinket in the game with healing AND mp5. Points in Nature's Grasp are typically PVP-oriented, and that's what I have it for (PVP/Hyjal Summit). Neat little tool!
