- After a few minutes, Andur finished washing himself off, turning the shower off and drying himself off. He put on his underwear and clothes before he began to comb his hair and fix it, trying to get it to look right. After a minute, Andur opened the door and walked out, now refreshed and awake.

- "Thanks. For today.. well, we could perhaps go to Stormwind. I'm sure one of the mages here in Dalaran could help us so you look like a high elf if that sounds alright" Andur suggested, wandering if she had ever heard of the Cathedral of Light.

- Andur was surprised she had anything like those contacts, shocked that perhaps it wasn't more commonly used or known about among the Alliance.
"Simple yet effective,"
Andur thought.
"Yes I am," Andur replied, opening the door for Valinaria so they could head for the Alliance district in Dalaran.

- "It would be this one," Andur said, pointing to the one second from the left. The two stepped through the portal, arriving inside the mage tower.
"So, have you ever seen the Cathedral of Light?" Andur asked, the two walking down the tower.

- Andur smiled, happy that Valinaria was happy. He led her through the busy crowds that were in the Stormwind Canals, leading her towards the Cathedral of Light.
"The cathedral is perhaps one of the greatest things in this entire city," Andur said, the two turning a corner and arriving in the district.

- "Of course, the chapel hasn't ever forced anyone to leave as far as I know," Andur said, the two walking towards the huge cathedral. They walked up the steps and into the building, the chapel lit up with candles all around along with light beaming from the painted glass.
"Greetings," a priest asked, walking up to the two, "on what occasion do you visit? Do you need the chapel for assistance?" the priest asked them.

- "Well, Stormwind Harbor is the only other thing. Since the war with the Lich King had ended, they didn't need parts of it, so they stripped it for supplies and left some shoreline. We could go down there if you want," Andur said.

((Sorry I didn't post in like 7 hours... Went for my first solo drive (despite the fact that I just turned 18... Always forgot to actually go and
get
my license... >.>), picked up Watchmen, bought some new headphones (olds ones were broken, and I needed headphones to watch a movie on the computer), came home, ate some chili, watched some TV, spent an hour looking for the headphones I bought, which ended up being in a completely different place than I left them, watched Watchmen and it's possibly the greatest movie I ever saw, at least from a philosophical perspective. It's a deep, deep movie. It's not about the superheroes, but what they represent in the real world, where the villain does win, and sometimes the hero can't save the day. Anyway, good movie, but 2 hours and 42 minutes long. Add that to the rest of the time and it means I'm away from the forums for several hours... Sorry... :P
Also, wall of text crits for
Graham's number
of damage.
Also, congrats on your aniversary, Gumballs... :P I'm still single, and sometimes I think it'd be a lot easier if it just stayed that way... <.<))
Base shrugged. "Well, we can go shopping if you like. I don't mind paying, either. As it turns out, killing is a profitable business, and I don't really have anything to spend the profits on," He chuckled, silently cursing himself. He hadn't meant it to sound quite that dark, and he knew Praey was still barely getting used to his lifestyle. "Of course, I might remind you, I don't hurt innocent people when it can be stopped. Many times I have ended up taking the life of the evil person who hired me to kill, rather than that of an innocent..." He paused, wondering if he should just quit while he was behind.
Killing didn't phase him. Dying happens, he had accepted that a long time ago, but most normal, sane people still possessed an incredible aversion to the topic, preferring to put it out of their minds, pretend it didn't exist. Bah, what was he thinking. That was his cold logical side again. It worked very well to his advantage in combat, being able to analyze a situation coldly and detatched, but when it came to social interaction, it and many times before landed him in an awkward situation.
He decided to just force his thoughts quiet and let himself act without thinking. That was the path to happiness, he had guessed. People who overanalyzed and detatched themselves grew lonely and bitter, but those who lived in the moment and didn't think seemed happy. Perhaps there was room for both in his mind, but for now, in this safe place, he wanted to be happy.
Alcohol. That's what he needed. The wine had barely scratched the surface of his mind. His thoughts plagued him. All this analysis... All this internal dialogue. It made life harder. So many thoughts conflicting and proposing solutions and opinions and drawing conclusions, it was overwhelming. His liquid friend could help with that...
"Sumting da matta?" Praey asked, obviously concerned about his expression.
"No, no... Just need a little relief..." He answered, chuckling slightly as he unbuckled his belt flask and took a swig. Already he could feel the weight lifting off of him. "Now... Let's go shopping, if that's what you want. There's also fights in the sewers here, if you're into that sort of thing. Fight clubs and gambling never really interested me, but I don't know about you," He nodded.
((Yeah, Base is a deep character... :P He's probably the most like me of all my characters.))

- Andur saw the massive harbor below them, though it wasn't as busy as he had expected. Only a single boat was at harbor, and that was a simple merchant ship.
"Well, lets get down there" Andur said, the two walking down the long steps and platforms towards the ocean.
