Did horde lost Stonard in SoS?
I hope not. Stonard has a lot of lore behind it.
Ashenvale has a lot of lore behind it, Darkshore too, Southshore is where the Silver Hand cleansed the gem that was forged into the Ashbringer, but still they'll get ravaged by a bunch of savages, corpses and traitors... Oh, well...
Maybe Stonard had some lore behind it, but how many of you hordies really enjoied that place? 4 huts and a fireplace (Just like any other horde settlement) in a damp swamp filled with strange-looking bridges and Lost Ones...
I enjoyed questing in Swamp of Sorrows. And it's relatively large compared to other Horde settlements.
And Stonard has a lot of lore behind it. It was the first post the Horde set up in Azeroth. It's the closest Horde base to the Dark Portal. It's where Rexxar left the Horde to live in the wild.

Wow, just wow...
Are you referring to Blood Elves as traitors? Other way around, my friend. Good ol' Garithos saw to their departure.

not so much me thinks
Unfortunately, the decisions of Kael'thas to continually accept the aid of the naga and willingness to use fel magic have caused blood elves to be shunned by the Alliance. Thus, the remaining blood elves on Azeroth looked to the Horde to help them reach Outland.
The Horde orcs, Darkspear trolls and tauren distrust the blood elves, as their addiction to magic makes the high elves look like amateurs. In particular, the orcs revile the blood elves because they see them as descending down the same path toward damnation that so corrupted the orcish people — the orcs can smell the demon taint on the blood elves and know how badly it will twist them.
see no one really likes them cause they are such druggies

Well, the choice was between Naga help or death to all his men. I pick Naga.

I say if the horde get part of Ashenvale, Southshore, AND Darkshore, i think we should get part of the Barrens, Stonetalon Mountains, and Swamp of Sorrows, i think Blizzard is to nice to the horde

Alliance need more quest hubs in central Kalimdor. I'm tired of looking at the flight path map and seeing a gigantic black void of nothingness that includes Durotar, much of Dustwallow Marsh, the Barrens, and Mulgore. I can understand Durotar and Mulgore, but Ally could definitely set up a town somewhere in the Barrens.

You know I just thought. If the horde loses Revantusk village in hinterlands, that'll feel like a sad day. Its one of my favourite coastal towns the horde get to have, the bongo drums above, the fishing.. lard lost his lunch..
Sigh.. be said if this gets destoryed too.

Ok, just to sum it up (lorewise) Alliance takes out Taurajo and how many taurens have enjoyed smacking quilboars for the prisoner there? Also, The Horde, is lorewise, 292,000 (without goblins) and Alliance is 800,000 (without Worgen).
So, we take Ashenvale because Nelves draw back to Auberdine to slavage what they can, and Garrosh orders our small post at the beach reinforced. The Forsaken take Southshore because they got so many more (Arthas' surviving undead most likely joins them).
BUT Stormwind would have retaken Duskwood, Redridge and Westfall, since the human armies return from northrend and The Defias are weakened without their true leader Katrana Prestor. Therefore The Alliance have pretty many forces ready to take out Grom'gol in STV while The Horde can take out the small camp in Darkshore. I don't think that we will se much conflict in Desolace because taurens and nelves usually doesn't war with each other, and with Malfurion back that won't happen, 'cause he likes us.
But the new Alliance hub? Swamp of Sorrows? No, Nethergarde will be practically deserted now with no threat whatsoever from Outland, plus their armies are used in retaking Duskwood/Redridge. Desolace as I said is out of harm between Horde and Alliance, but with the Cataclysm out and plants everywhere I think that the centaurs would go berserk, therefore plausible.
1k needles will get flooded, and so while The Alliance have a base on the ground and The Horde have one on the needles I would say not happening.
Badlands, does The Alliance have a base here at all? While The Horde wouldn't pull out our forces since Nefarian isn't really gone I say that we have a more neutral spot here: Horde doesn't move and Alliance moves in.
EDIT: Confirmed that Alliance will have new base in Desolace.
So that leaves us with the conclusion that The Alliance hub is in Desolace or Southern Barrnes with our beloved Taurajo gone (Yes, I play tauren), or some third place
