I'm trying to make a return to WoW eventually, wondering if anyone else out there is in the same situation as me. I started playing this game when I really wasn't doing anything else special then I joined the military. Now with all the deployments and long work hours getting quality WoW time is hard...In fact I've only played a couple times since joining because its basically impossible... the free WiFi in the community centers is horribly slow and the work schedule makes it impossible to raid since I'm in a European time zone now. I guess it shouldn't bother me that much since I'm supposedly doing something that matters and actually earns me money. Which was something I couldn't do with online gaming, earn money...
Been a couple years since I got out of the game, and really interested in trying out the current game but I hear Cataclysm is coming out soon now, so that would be me more than a expansion behind! I was a leveling monster before had 4 level 70s before pretty much anyone in game.
Anyone else have RL impact online gaming time here? I had to deactivate the game because in my home station they had no internet connection to the dormitories I lived in.
Guess I just miss online gaming! :(

Cool thanks for the replies guys! Yeah I just felt like I missed out on a lot. I got to play the expansion for a couple days during the trial period when I was in the states for readiness training.... (I hate low crawling)
I'm also really looking forward to Diablo III and Starcraft II... Look amazing but seems like it takes Blizzard forever to come out with any new games since they are perfectionists like VALVE is... but the wait will be worth it. By then I'll have a new QuadCore laptop w/ Windows 7 capable of running it I hope.

Ive seen a couple guys attempting to play it here (Afghanistan) but I havnt tried... since my account is inactive... and my main laptop screen went out... so using a EEepc I bought..

Cataclysm's a way out. The game's fun, and I think you'll enjoy it; frankly, I think it's a much better designed game now.
