Based on current lore, which race do you think has been screwed the most?

Blame Patty for the endless "It was just a setback!" comments.

I have been doing a tonne of sarcastic dialogue things and a couple of other people followed suit. It's the "in" thing to do I think. :)
Oh, I never noticed. Guess I haven't been paying much attention lately to L&RP.

But back to the topic:
Insanity and berserkery aside, the Forest Trolls seem to have had it pretty hard ever since the High Elves rolled into their turf.

Old Gods. Depending on your lore preference they were either chilling out on their own planet, or happily chilling out on a cool new one they found ready made. Then suddently Titans show up, beat up and banish their elemental friends, kick the crap into them and lock them under the world for a few hijillion years (time not to scale).
Then when two of them finally peek out their heads to see if the coast is clear for their return to the surface and more chilling out, a bunch of races that have been corrupted several times over by arcane and fel magics come along and MURDER them? To add insult to injury, they also discover that these crazed races have totally messed up the entire world while they were stuck underground?
Nobody has it as bad as the Old Gods.

YOU are a monster!
I would say that the thread's ultimate conclusion is either:
A)
1-Critters
2-Draenei
3-Quel'dorei + Sin'dorei
4-Orcs
5-Everyone else.
or B)
Azeroth is a really happy place, and thus everyone's lives is really happy.
Translation: Everyone is screwed.
I FORGOT ABOUT THE POOR CRITTERS! *joins DEHTA's crusade*

More Russian then French.
Draenei are patterned after Gypsies..People without a home and persecuted wherever they go. IMO, yes, they've definitely gotten the raw end of the deal.
What's impressive about the Draenei is that they are still a good people with noble ideals, even after all they've been though.

By the way, I think we'd also agree that Female Draenei also get screwed the most.

Heh, espically the one they forced to be Garona's mother.

FULL OF WIN.
Draenei females are the best Alliance women, no doubt.
Humans are saggy, dwarves are....*shudder*, Gnomes are like children, Night Elves aren't as curvy, but bounce.

I think critters, because seriously, they couldn't hurt you if they wanted, there fuzzy and, well... critters.
But actuall races, draenei takes it.
Critters are ungrateful. I mean if i was a toad and a mage polymorphed me into a sheep.....well, id be pretty pleased!
But in honesty......every single race except Night Elves. Night Elves are the cause for nearly every bad thing on Azeroth.

The whole story behind the forsaken is a pretty sad one, depressing even. The thing about the Draenei is more horrifying than sad in my opinion -- chocking, but not depressing, especially seeing as how they're able to keep faith and thus hope for and see a bright future ahead of them.
The unarmed priest — “Trevor” — hurled himself on top of one deathguard and pummeled it viciously while Andarin drew his blade to deal with the other. The seven runes on the weapon's blade sprang to life, bathing the sword in holy fire. His first stroke shattered the deathguard's steel, the second severed the monster's neck. He could not afford to allow the guard to shout an alarm. By the time he had dealt with the first guard, the second had pinned Trevor to the floor and stabbed its dagger into the priest's shoulder. Andarin turned and ran his blade through the back of its head. It passed through as if tearing tissue paper. Andarin offered Trevor a hand to stand, only realizing afterward how awkward it was to help one of the Forsaken to his feet. “You wear the robes of a priest, Trevor. Why do you not channel the Light in battle, if you seek redemption?” The priest seemed to wince at that. “While I refuse to wield the shadow, the Light has refused me, or so it seems. And so, I am truly a broken man; I learned to wield the spears of Light in the First War, not a solid weapon like Uther's knights did in the Second. Without the Light, I am unarmed and unarmored — but not entirely helpless, as you see.” Andarin couldn't help but feel a little bit sorry for the fallen priest, if his story was true. Perhaps a man, no matter how virtuous, could not channel holy power while in such a form.
This is according to lore. In the game Forsaken Priests can cast Holy spells, or else there'd be a huge unbalance. it's pretty damn sad to have been forsaken everything you used to know, trust, believe and have faith in. No wonder so many Forsaken get grudges and get &*!@y about everything.
It's hard to chose one race that has had it worse though, since it's hard to be completely objective.
