A lot of fairly outlandish suggestions here that would certainly be overpowered, but kind of fun none the less. What I'd like to see are more tweaks to existing abilities, rather than any new ones. Especially with regards to protection warrior AOE, which I think certainly needs some improvement.
First of all, I'd like to see something done with
Warbringer, such as an increased chance to crit with Shield Slam, similar to
Juggernaut. Or perhaps something like "Your next Shield Slam will hit an additional target if used within 5 seconds after charge".
A lower cooldown on
Shockwave would make a much needed improvement. The 20 second cooldown is very unwieldy, so I'd say say reduce this to 10-12 seconds and decrease the stun duration to 2 seconds to compensate. We'd have a much more useful AOE tool then, rather than merely an opening move.
Cleave needs to hit more than just 2 targets, or 3 with a glyph. Thankfully the improvements made to Shield Spec means that we actually have enough rage to keep cleaving targets, but only hitting 2 or 3 just doesn't cut it.
Shield Wall. For Saurfang's sake, give us a 2 minute shield wall by default. Spending 2 talent points and a glyph in order to get a cooldown that Paladins and Death Knights get as default is really annoying. It should be 2 minutes across the board, either by default, or by working cooldown reduction into existing talents, such as Vitality, with each point reducing the cooldown by 1 minute.
I like these ideas.
However, maybe if warbringer increased critical strike chance of your next ability by say 50%
Warbringer: Your Charge, Intercept and Intevene abilities are now usable while in combat and in any stance. In addition, your Charge, Intercept and Intervene Increase the critical strike chance of your Thunderclap or Shield Slam by 50% for 3 seconds and upon use, will remove all movement impairing effects.
i agree it could do with an update, it does need more to be added to it. Short time period in which to use the ability make it good for trash pulls for very high snap AoE and not too powerful for pvp.

My choice: 15 Rage Instant 30 second cooldown
The Warrior roar's, reducing enemy attack power by 25%, and dazing them for 8 seconds. Applies 4 stacks of sunder armor.
Sends a wave of force in front of the warrior, causing damage (based on attack power) and stunning all enemy targets within 10 yards in a frontal cone for 4 sec.
Causes triple damage against dazed targets.hey i could go on forever.. but the chance of it happening it slim to null. or might even be negative =P
Instant 30 sec cooldown 8 - 40 yard range
You hurl your shield at the target, causing damage (increased by strength) and causes the warrior to enrage, increasing damage dealt by 10% for 15 seconds. Your next charge within 8 seconds will generate 30 additional rage.
Give me those, and i can live with the whine from the paladin's.
And oh, will they whine.. Victory, thus i long for you.
