How is Feral Survivability in PvP vs Melee?

Thinking about finishing leveling my feral druid as i got a bit fed up with rogue not too fun in bgs due to lack of survivability and survivability based all on cooldowns just wasnt my thing. Plus relatively low damage with Mutilate/Prep build. Having to be careful all the time, and then seeing a ret paladin run round mindlessly doing more damage than me stuns heals shields immunity ect.
I played enh shaman in tbc and really enjoyed that having great damage but fairly low survivability. But burst is just too high to enjoy playing enh shaman it seems.
Druids seem nice with the option to go bear form and still put out pretty good damage, restealthing, plus cc and heal themselves which rogues cant. I understand feral has no ms but i play for bg fun and ms isnt an issue most of the time in bgs.
Basically how much of an issue is feral survivability vs other melee classes, if your a good player? Thanks

honestly as a feral tank i had no idea what all the QQing was about with rets till i pvped with literally any other class, we've just got an amazing crit reduction built in, damage reduction, health and armor multipliers, and we hit quite hard
so to answer your question bluntly...our melee survivability is amazing
blizz did try to include bears in the retfest by making primal tenacity only benefit cat but it wasn't a big enough nerf that we had to run everytime we saw a ret like a rogue does when he sees a tree
"RUN AWAY IT'S A......tree?"
"A what, a tree? You silly twit."
"He's got huge sharp...he can leap about...look at the bones."
<<<would think twice and a third time about going head to head with a ret as anything but a bear

Sounds encouraging. I imagine once your 80 u try and stun get bleeds up then go bear, cc to heal restealth and so on.

I'm personally full bear main spec so i don't go cat unless i need speed or stealth but even in bear i can charge and bash, i deal slow but extremely heavy hits even on plate, i can slow and snare people, and just generally $%^& people off as my health just doesn't drop fast enough for them to be happy, I'm like a scarier version of monty python's holy grail's
killer rabbit
