Hey guys I was wondering if you can help me out.
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Proudmoore&n=Jeremiah
For some odd reason my dps is only 3400 - 3500 dps and some of my guildies say it should be higher.

Definitely need to hear about your spell rotation and what fights is that DPS on?
For example, XT - are you always on the boss or do you fight the adds too?

It's mostly on all the fights,
My rotation is
VT / DP / MB / MF / SW:P / SW:D / VT / MB / MF / DP ......etc
I wait till I have 5 shadow weave then cast SW:P.
Nope I cast my dots back up right when they are about to come off.
I only use shadowfiend when I'm at 30% mana

This is what really caught my eye. The crazy thing about DoT's is that they tick. And that last tick happens just as the spell falls off. So if you are refreshing your DoTs a little too early, you lose that last tick of damage and really gimp your dps. DP used to be simple-- you couldn't overwrite the last tick because you couldn't recast the spell. Now you have to be careful not to lose that lat tick---wait until the spell is over before recasting-- remember it is an instant.
VT is a little trickier. You don't want to wait until it is off the target since in a perfect world it will take (1.5 - haste) secs to get it back up. But you don't want it to drop on the target until the last tick of the old spell is done. This a where some kind of DoT Timer is useful. You can set it up so that if your VT is 1.3 sec cast time, you can recast when VT on the mob is at 1.3 secs left and then not worry about clipping.
Also, no one mentioned setting up a nochanneling macro for your MF. Nochanneling stops you from casting another spell while you are channeling another. This basically stops you from casting MF too soon and clipping the last tick
