You want my advice? Do it as ret. It is faster and actually easier to do Ony as a ret paladin than a prot paladin. Both specs work, just ret is faster. In ret spec, a consecration or two is all that is necessary to kill the whelps. Simply use FoL on every AoW proc and you'll be fine.
As a prot paladin, it took me 20 minutes. As a ret paladin, less than 10.
Really? 20 minutes as prot? It took me 20 minutes as a resto shaman for crying out loud :P

Ret is a joke, I wasted her without ever even healing myself. Welps dropped with one Divine Storm, never had to bubble. Just modify your judgements, use Fire Resist Aura and loot.

Resto shaman are capable of more DPS in my experience.
