Seen the "Druid FAQ (Updated for 3.1)" and "Helpful Threads - Read before posting"?
There is everything you want to know as a beginner bear tank.
Especially here:

level 83 raid bosses have a 5.6% chance to crit a level 80, 3/3 sotf alone gives us 6% crit reduction putting us 0.4% over the cap, our BiS weapon is a pvp staff which has a bit of resil on it further adding to our crit reduction, necks and rings will generally have some defense on it adding even further to that crit reduction along with increasing our dodge and chance to be missed slightly
armor will generally come naturally but the black heart is an amazing trinket worth noting, agility should start hitting noticeable DR as you round 40% dodge generally stam>agil is the way to go as we get 148.665% stamina and 108.12% agil from talents and bear form
8% hit, within the range of 6.5% to 14% expertise (hover over ratings for percents)

545 def cap and stuff...
You don't even know all that much about tanking with other classes...

yes, "further adding" because many guilds do in fact use a single bear tank on thorim and an extra dps/healerbecause of their ability to become so easily crit immune even with an unbalancing strike debuff but it is indeed a niche at that point but i clearly covered that he'd be crit immune under normal circumstances at the beginning
plate tanks would have to stack a lot more def/res to reach the same effectiveness while druids only need stack a bit more then continue with the agil/stam stacking

You realize that *any* tank can become 'over' crit immune using defense/resilience, not just druids, right?
It's just a kinda stupid idea.
