Scan the auction house often. Any of Auctioneer's search filters utilize the stored database of items for auction. So, an item may have been purchased or expired since your last auction scan.

Also, be sure to let Auctioneer datamine for a few days before using the Resale option.
The initial data it loads with are based on the prevailing conditions on the server on which it was tested, not on your local server. Items that it may THINK are underpriced may, in fact, be at or below the server's current going rate.
Edit: (Actually, the author says it isn't loaded with any data at all..so what it's basing it's initial estimates off of is anyone's guess - But be sure to use the auction house several times a day for at least a week, and be careful what you're buying for resale even after that.)
For example, let's say that a couple of engineers have been mining tons and tons of Fel Iron Ore, and have flooded the market with Primal Earth and Primal fire. This causes the price to plummet, and if you buy 500 primals at 2G each, you may not be able to sell them for the higher price that Auctioneer thinks is the prevailing market price.
use it for a few days before jumping right into the Resale tab, so it can build up an average price database based on actual local conditions.
