Simple question of opinion, please dont read too much into this, but here is the build for a Spriest
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bVcbhZZGxfVRczffqfzAo:hqZz0M
The question is for the third major glyph, in the experience of other Spriests , is having the extra
10 yards
range for mind flay greater or less in value to the
5 yard radius
increase for mind sear in a
PVE
setting.
I have a feeling most go for the mind flay, and so my second question is, does anyone pick up mind sear?

I've generally not cared for the mind sear glyph because most trash packs are centered on a single tank, so the standard functionality of the spell has always sufficed.

For pve I would take the mind flay one for the reason genxcub mentioned.

the only time mind sear benefits from the extra 5 yards i've experienced so far in PVE is some of the trash groups in Naxx, esp spider wing.
Helps sometimes in pvp, esp WG when in front of the keep.

As a raiding Shadow Priest I prefer the Glyph of Mind Sear. I disagree with most of the Priest community who believe that the Glyph of Mind Flay is mandatory. I’ve never come across any huge range issues with Mind Flay.
Lately I have been PvP’n more and more and I raided without the Mind Sear glyph last night. I could tell a noticeable difference.
I guess it all depends on your play style.

Hmm, alright, thank you for your input,
@children, do you have issues with the range constriction of heigan?
