Hey, I know the fact that I like Med'an, Valeera and Rhonin dooms me to hatred, but so what, atleast I don't pretrend like they are the only important people in existence, I still have mad love for the old Lore heroes and Villains..... except for Deathwing, Deathwing will eat the World.
Sargeras and the Legion, the Old Gods don't have nothing on the corrupted Earth Warder, he will kill them all and eat the Titans..... alright I'm finished.

Nope... The Great Olds Ones and/or the Outer Gods are where it's at, yo.

What I meant there is that if Thrall really become a Guardian it implies that the lore created by Me'dan's books (I read none =P, they don't sell it here) is irrelevant to the MMO's lore. Well the biggest thing about the comic's right now is that they are about 4-5 months behind the events ingame, after all the Northrend Assault just recently began.... I'm looking forward to November as that's when the comic's split: One title for Alliance and one title for Horde. I'm hoping they don't kill Med'an, just because I don't want them to ruin Thrall(in-game and Lore) and do this idiotic thing.

So, conclusion: Med'an is stupid and killing him because of Thrall is even more stupid.
I wouldn't go that far, but meh, I can understand hate for him. I don't think he is stupid, but that is just because he's an addition to Garona, and honestly, I've been a fan of her since I've read the Last Guardian. She was an interesting character, and the exchanges between her and Khadgar were quite good. And since they increased her backstory to more then just "She killed Llane", finally explaining why she did it and why she was able to be controlled so easily by the Shadow council.

So, less biased conclusion: While some/many may agree that Med'an is a "Mary Sue", its not a reason to simply take him out. Even less with a nonsense that is the thread's topic.
Agreed.

OH... NO...
The Comic 22 preview is out... And it's looking like the rumours might be true...
Edit: Elaboration...
While the possible Guardian Thrall is makes more sense now, with it not necessarily being solely Arcane anymore, this would mean the Garrosh might be Warchief...

Calm down, Thrall was a choice for the Council. She wasn't talking about choosing the new Guardian.... yet..... blast it.

But now he's involved... Which lends a credibility that previously wasn't there...
((Goin' to sleep fo' realz, yo.))

Myself, I saw him as part of the Council or training Med'an in his shamanistic abilities, but still not believing him becoming the Guardian. For those who are wondering: The Council will have a shaman (Thrall) a paladin (Maraad) a priest (one to be chosen by Khadgar) a Druid (they want Broll but seeing as he's dealing with the Dream problems.... which will probably combine with Stormrage novel when it comes out) with Jaina Agewynn and Meryl making up the mages.

Funny thing is, Malfurion is supposed to be fighting against the Nightmare.
His arrival:
Mal: O HAI!
Tyrande: Hiya Mal, I have missed you all these years, I get...lonely. Y'know?
Mal: CAN I BLOW SOMETHING UP?
Tyrande: Well um, I only woke you up because well, other than the fact you were gathering dust, these bunch of Mages want to reform a council, and find a new guardian. They need you, even though you have never had anything to do with them.
Mal: Mages blow up sheeps, I'm in!
Tyrande: So erm, how about we catch up...if you get my drift.
Mal: EWW! I want to blow stuff up though.
Tyrande: *sigh* Fine, I'll call Shandris...
Mal: Have fun!
Tyrande: I meant that we could - Never mind.
*awkward silence*
Tyrande: Anyway, I thought you were trapped in the Nightmare?
Mal: Well, I was. But um, I decided to wake up and leave Ysera with all the crap going on there.
Tyrande: You can wake up, just like that?
Mal: Yup.
*Tyrande slaps Malfurion across the face. Ouch!*
Mal: What was that for?
Tyrande: I have been going Cold Turkey for you, over the last 10,000 years or so, and you could have woken up at ANY MOMENT? I want a divorce. I knew I should have chose Illidan...

Read the spoiler of the new comic issue.
Nobody talks about Thrall using arcane magic. It is merely being said that more aspects of magic (divine, nature, arcane) are being part of the new, reformed Council of Tirisfal.

I lol'd.
I lol'd... to a somewhat extent.
Gotta love the beauty of being able to make people say anything.

I'm looking forward to Stormrage, there finally going to reveal what's been happening in the Dream since the end of the Third War. Also, as usual Patty is pure lol. Comic should be out later today, going to find a way to get a copy and read it heh.

I am going to buy it, but I hope he calmed himself on the God-Moding Mary-Sues this time...
