* Seal of Command: This ability now chains to strike up to 2 additional targets when it is triggered by an attack.
Divine Storm hits 4 Targets. Divine Storm triggers Seal of Command on 4 Targets. Seal of Command hits 12 times?
Can somebody clarify how this works with Divine Storm?

I'd say it's possible to hit up to 12 targets with SoC procs from Divine Storm.
However, I don't think it means you'll get 12 procs from any fewer than 12 targets.
Meaning, if you only have 6 targets, your Divine Storm will hit 4 targets, and SoC will proc on them, along with chaining to the remaining 2 targets. I seriously doubt you'll have more than one proc of SoC landing on the same target.
Otherwise, it could mean judging a target and having 3 procs land on them. :P

I assume it means "melee attack". White swing.

Each SoC proc will only hit any target once, assuming the cleave effect is on melee abilities such as CS+DS.
Example:
DS Hits 4 monsters. A B C D
A Takes SoC dmg, B and C take cleave damage.
B Takes SoC dmg, A and C take cleave damage.
C Takes SoC dmg, B and D take cleave damage.
D Takes SoC dmg, B and C take cleave damage.

That's what I'm wondering. If it's only on white hits then it's a nice AOE increase. If it's on our instants as well then it's an amazing AOE increase that will likely be nerfed.

A Takes SoC dmg, B and C take cleave damage.
B Takes SoC dmg, A and C take cleave damage.
C Takes SoC dmg, B and D take cleave damage.
D Takes SoC dmg, B and C take cleave damage.
That's exactly what I don't see happening. I think it would be more like:
A takes SoC damage, triggering B and C to take SoC damage
D takes SoC damage
If the "cleave" damage is the same as the original SoC proc, then you can see where this would get a little ridiculous. With your example, you are quadrupling the output of SoC. :P I DEFINITELY don't see that happening.
I assume it means "melee attack". White swing.
Unfortunately, I bet you're right. How dare SoC and Paladins ever become useful DPS, right? >.<

Either way this will be nice. I miss the good old days back in 3.0.3 when socomm was the seal to go with and using the aforementioned seal would make you top charts in raids....but then again that was back in the days before lich king was released.

I'd rather have Vengeance/Corruption stacking on instants again. To avoid stacking too quickly in PVP make it dispel as a stack, the way Stormstrike does.

If an attack procs a seal of command then that seal of command can chain onto up to two different targets.
That is correct, with one clarification. It must be a single-target attack. If the attack is already multi-target like DS, then only the damage procs, not the cleave.

(bolded part is GC quote)
Still, this change makes SoC worth getting in PVE for trash pulls.

Still a very nice change. Glad this was cleared up.

Apparently on the PTR, it DOES work like the OP asked if it would. However, Dresorull (a blue poster) stated that not all of the mechanics or bugs have been worked out yet and to keep trying it with the newer builds.

You're a little late to the party, there.
