You can now make characters from both factions on PvP servers. Thoughts?

Apparently
you can now make toons of both factions on a PvP server the way you could always do it on a PvE server. This is in preparation for the faction-changing service Blizzard is offering.
I personally think it's a bad idea. It allows for victimization unlike what we've seen before. Normally on a PvP server, killing someone was never really personal, considering you couldn't talk to that person. But now we'll have the ability to communicate with people we're capable of ganking. We might as well remove the language barrier.

Obviously this is, as stated, in preparation for the faction-changing service. How can you change your factions on the same server if you don't lift this restriction, at least temporarily?
Trust in Blizzard to not completely screw the game up by doing something as large-scale as this without any thought to the consequences. They play the game, too. Pretty sure someone somewhere in the Blizzard company has gotten ^&*!ed they were killed repeatedly while questing. It's human nature, or in my case, night elven.

I mean, I can see the faction-changing service working just fine without lifting the cross faction ban for PvP servers. By switching your Horde character to Alliance, for example, you're severing all ties to what made him Horde. Your guild and the community you were a part of are gone.
So, being forced to change to a new server when you make use of the service doesn't seem unreasonable.

Ridiculous. The quality of WoW has taken a nosedive with all of these bull #$%^ changes. What's next? Removing the RP requirement on RP realms?

This is somewhat similar to back in season 1 all of the sh!t talking that went on between the two opposite teams the arena.
