I've been thinking about a build that would work in collaboration with Battle Stance, utilizing the Armor Penetration, and also being able to use Rend in the process. The talents are pretty much the same, and I know it's a bit over the top, but I just wanted to see if it was a viable Dps specc;

, look at it, plug it in the magical Dps-machine, swish it around in your head, and give me any feedback that will actually help me decide this specc, or the contemperary build everyone uses.

Not worth it, not going to work.
The joy of fury is whirlwind, it's such an incredibly powerful move and you won't be able to make up for losing it through rend and a weakened overpower. Imp berserker stance + the 3% crit berserker stance provides anyway is better than the ArP from battle stance. You even have points in imp berserker stance and imp whirlwind for no good reason as they'll be useless to you.
Also, the thing that makes overpower so very good in an arms build is its enormous crit chance, indeed it's very rare for it to not crit, however you don't have the talent to add 50% crit chance. A non critting overpower is not worth very much at all. Stick with a standard fury build or a standard arms build, this build is not a popular one and there's a reason for that. People have tried it, it doesn't work well in comparison to a regular build, played as intended.

Yeah, I was just thinking about it, wanted to know the cons, and pros, if any. On a side note, is it worth keeping Rend up?

No. Even improved, it will deal less damage than an Arms warrior's Rend because of Trauma. To keep Rend up you need either to be in Battle Stance or to switch to it. Being in Battle Stance = huge DPS loss. Switching to Battle Stance = DPS loss still because you're wasting a couple seconds to use a feeble debuff instead of using your Fury moves.
Besides, if you switch to Battle Stance you'll lose the 3% extra crit and 20% extra strength from Berserker Stance.
