That wasn't really long ;)
Stupid dps are just that, stupid. Don't let their failure drag you down. Let them die and just don't run with them any more. After a few runs you will find reliable dps which know how to do stuff, just run with those.
Or get into a raiding guild. That usually makes stuff a lot easier.

what's your hit and expertise at as well? If those numbers are low you may be missing or getting parried more often that you realize.

4 steps
1 keep pugging sooner or later a few good people should surface
2 add them to your friend list
3 ask them when making new groups
4 profit
at least thats what i did

Are you using Demo shout?
try glyphing up with the maul one and use taunt whenever you lose aggro.
if it's really bad then use the aoe taunt while popping berserk.

expertise soft cap is 26 (can't be dodged)
expertise hard cap is 56 (can't be parried)
Always aim to hit at least the soft cap for tanking
As for sockets i usually gem like so..
Blue=stamina
Red=stamina/expertise if needed otherwise stamina/agility for added avoidance
Yellow=stamina/hit if needed otherwise stamina/defense for added avoidance
The 2 hand hit cap is 6% for autoattacks and 9% for melee special abilites but is generally not as big an issue as expertise so be sure you have anywhere from 26-56 expertise and your hit should be perfectly acceptable for tanking.
Great tanking spec
A few very simple macros..
Put this in place of mangle
/cast Mangle (Bear)(Rank 5)
/cast Maul (Rank 10)
Put this in place of swipe
/cast Swipe (Bear)(Rank 8)
/Maul (Rank 10)
Put this in place of lacerate
/cast Lacerate (Rank 3)
/cast Maul (Rank 10)

Yes, I probably do need to work on my hit and expertise. I've got 142 hit and 23 expertise. Aside from that, I guess I'm just terrible. Thanks anyway, folks.
Is there a way for me to delete this topic?
Lol
When I pull the dps immediately unleash their highest damage attacks on whatever target they please (or all of them.)
If they really do that then there is absolutely
nothing
you can do about it. If the dps doesn't go for the marked target it is his fault and not yours, no amount of AoE threat can keep up with a dps focusing on the wrong target.
Yes, Druids are great AoE tanks. We can easily keep up with dps using their AoE attacks. But that doesn't mean we can keep up with dps that use their single target nukes on the secondary target instead of the primary one.

no need to burn the growl cd right off the bat, charge in then if it's an aoe pull just spam that swipe/maul macro like there's no tomorrow and try to get a demo roar in if ur able. but yeah dps always try to jump the gun for that extra 8dps to get 1st on the meters.
