The Priest versatility is more or less of a misconception, but this thread is about Death Knights so I wont go into details.
I don't know why you say this, priests can top damage meters, raid heal, tank heal, and provide the raid with more survivability.
Since I personally have tanked with a Death Knight, i find it highly inadvisable.
Death knights are one of the best tanking classes. They don't have a shield, but they do have large avoidance and Frost Presence.
while continuing to hammer away with Blood Strike or Heart Strike, whichever talent tree you decide to dig into.
Blood Strike is not the staple strike of any tree. Frost and Unholy just use it every so often to get death runes, so they can "hammer away" with oblit's and scourge strikes.
Finally, yes, subversion does provide tps reduction and dps increase. That said, your diseases are not a major part of your threat and you will not wipe your raid if you do not have subversion. A decently geared and played tank should be able to out tps any dps class.
Before you write your own guide, read the other guides.

Words of wisdom from a lvl 63 and lvl 58 DK. -sigh-

I spend most of my time leveling friends.
And if you don't believe that, at least I make valid points.
At level 60, I think I'm able to discern what makes or breaks a raid, because in the original WoW, i'd be AQ'ing right now.
You can't claim mastery of the Death Knight class after playing it for a whopping 5 levels. While I agree that Subversion is a very useful DPS talent, I think you should actually, I don't know, finish leveling the DK and raid before giving raiding advice out to DKs.
You've got to understand that advice from a level 60 DK carries the same weight as advice from a level 5 Paladin.

Not only are you giving advice out with little to no experience, you are giving the wrong advice.

You may be somewhat right about subversion, but you are dead wrong about dk tanks.

I just find that Death Knight tanks have trouble holding Aggro in group pulls. That's my opinion.
I just find that anyone who hasn't actually read up on how to tank and think just because they can't do it that means others can't with high success to be rather lacking. That's just my opinion.

Death knights are right up there with paladins as far as aoe tanking goes, ESPECIALLY when they get to the high 70's and hit the cap. Level 60 death knights do not gain the amazingness that death knights have for tanking. If you do have experience as a dk tank and say they suck, you might be better off either not playing a death knight or not tanking at all.

The sad thing is while his intended topic of Subversion has merit, he's just dug himself a giant hole with his ignorance.
Might be best to lock the thread before it gets nasty.

I found this thread pretty entertaining :p
"Maximizing your DPS is difficult, as it requires you maintain all diseases while continuing to hammer away with Blood Strike or Heart Strike, whichever talent tree you decide to dig into."
Hehe quote of today! :D

I wonder, how can you build a nice blood-unh or unh-alone build without learning this talent! Learn incoming damage reduce? Lol
