Ensure that your computer isn't overheating.
If you feel comfortable...
Ground yourself on something metal.
Next, open the case and check to make sure there's no dust/animal hair/spider web buildup over any fans, fan ports, heat sinks, or ventilation grills. If there are, very gently brush it off with your fingers. You can also use compressed/canned air to blow it out, or a reversed vacuum (if yours will do that.) Be very careful that you do NOT cause the fans to spin with the air from those items, as it will cause damage to the bushings inside and make them wear out faster.
If you're really feeling froggy, you could use a pencil eraser, toothbrush, or q-tip (cotton swab) to brush the edges of any fans that might have collected dust.
I am NOT responsible for any damage that you inflict upon your hardware, software, or data. :)
It could also be a program conflict, if you play MP3s in the background or have any other programs running, these could cause WOW to lock up too.
(I have a problem with Apple's auto-updater crashing my WOW every week or so, since I only update iTunes bimonthly.)
