I use MSBT. I like the ability to control pretty much every aspect; where stuff pops up, how it pops up, what pops up, etc. etc.
Its really easy to make it look really good.

SCT is no longer maintained. MSBT is, and the author is excellent (not to discount Whitehoof). As a programmer, the choice is pretty clear to me.
Thanks, tried MSBT once (before i even knew how addons worked) and deleted it straight away ^^.

Anyway, I still use SCT since it's just so ridiculously simple to set up and it works for my purposes. I've tried MSBT and just didn't need that granular level of control.

Yeah, it is quite easy. Default scrolling text, with the font switcher mentioned above :)
Every scrolling text addon just gives me too much information, and not where I want. I like the numbers popping up on relevant mobs and players, too.

Hey thanks a lot for that video. I suppose I might need to get off my butt and spend the time to configure MSBT. It took me years to start using a bar mod -- I'm a little slow on the uptake :).

parrot TBH, sctd was my main choice before wotlk, now its not updated anymore so I use parrot
parrot>msbt just because MSBT is too clunky, and default fonts=porky lolA single setting that takes less then 5 seconds to change is hardly something worth loling about...
And I generally think that when someone uses an abstract description such as "clunky" it really just means that they are trying to justify personal preference without any actual reason or validity. Carry on.
