How to DPs from afar using Enhance, + is ArP useful?

Most boss encounters have phases where i'm unable to attack a boss from melee so I have to use a gimped out Elemental rotation. Am I supposed to use FS > LvB > LB > FS > LB > LvB, or what? I can't quite figure it out since I don't have the FS glyph (or course)
And am I right be be avoidant of ArP gear? Quite a great deal of my damage is unaffected my armour (only swings, WF, SS and Feral Spirits (iirc) are reduced by armour). Do the exponential benefits or ArP ever get high enough to warrant actively stacking it? I've been passing most ArP gear to Hunters if its not a big upgrade.

Which fights, exactly, would force you to go into this long of a ranged rotation?

Can't think of any, maybe Kel'thuzad 25 man if i'm the worst melee and have to go ranged. Either way, quite a few fights let me use ranged for a bit (like sapphiron, various WWing bosses). Maybe not for that long, but I can get a good 3-4 moves in.
