Yea, I have to agree. Hit has to be the most important stat, since you depend on it to actually do damage. The effects of low hit ratings are horrible: unlike any other stat, Hit literally affects your damage in a range from XX dmg to zero (in case of a miss). No other stat has such range.
Spellpower should be a close second,
since all your damage comes from it
. If you read the spell description of Arcane Barrage, for example, and then hit something with it, you'll see that your spellpower has HUGE effects on the amount of damage you do (and AB has very little % coefficient from spellpower... other spells like fireball, whit the right talents, has much more).
Now, Haste, Crit and Spirit will really depend on your spec. If you are playing Arcane, you should focus on haste until you start hitting diminishing returns (around 570 or 17% haste rating). Arcane has no DoTs, so if you want to do damage, you have to hit the target with a spell, period. If you are playing FFB or FB/TTW, then you probably want to get your haste to about 400, then focus heavily on crit, since your procs depend on crits, unlike Arcane spec.
Spirit is also a "nice to have" stat, and if you are playing any spec other than Arcane, you want to have some nice Spirit for the solemn purpose of Molten Armor.

Ok I get the Hit, Spell Power, then Haste but when do you start stacking Haste over SP?
Never. Well, they should kinda improve together anyways. For example, you can get your Haste to about 500 without sacrificing any spellpower (quite the opposite in fact).
