Ok, still working on my next addon and I've searched WOWiki for the answer and it doesn't appear to be easily searched for.
What I want to do: Have the addon bind a hotkey to a button...you know, have a keystroke on the keyboard send a "Clicked" event to the button. I searched under hotkeys, binding, buttons, binding hotkeys in addons, and a dozen variations, and other than a notation under "hotkeys" that addons can bind hotkeys, I can find no description of what method sets a hotkey for the button.
I'm assuming that it would be something like:
Button:SetHotkey(char])
So that
Button:SetHotkey("a") -- sets hotkey as a
Button:SetHotkey("a",false,true) -- sets hotkey as ctrl+a
Button:SetHotkey("a",true) -- sets hotkey as alt+a
Button:SetHotkey("a",true,true) -- sets hotkey as alt+ctrl+a
Edit: OK, I Think this function is what I need:
SetOverrideBindingClickNow all I need is to make sure it doesn't override important active keybinds, like movement....heh.
