ok, so im looking to setup my UI for raiding. I need a threat meter, action bars, some sort of debuff/buff timer, and a better scrolling combat text addon. I've already decided to use Omen for the threat meter, as its clean and simple, but I need advice on all the other elements. Any suggestions, my fellow rogues?

I also use Omen for threat, and if everyone else has Omen, then they can see your threat levels and vice versa, I also use wowmatrix to install my addons its pretty good.

I have found that the Curse downloader client is better, some mods (like Omen) are no longer avalible on wowmatrix.
A simple UI mod that I love is Bartender. It's IMO the easiest addon to move around your bars to the desired places you want them to be in. You can also use other addons after you have your bars setup to make the bars look neater, etc.
For SCT, I'd highly recommend Mik's Scrolling Combat Text. It's one of the best I've ever used.
thanks, ill take a look at these. And ya, deadly boss mods is great, I discovered it a little while ago, it really helps the fights.
Anybody else got ideas?

My UI
I've moved the pitbull unitframes down to just above my action bars (that way raid and party frames can be in the upper left-hand corner), on either side of Omen. I also don't use Grid anymore (I had it there just for testing).
I still need to make sure everything is equally aligned though - I haven't got around to that yet.
My Addons:
DeadlyBossMods
Omen
Pitbull
Rogue Power Bars
Rogue Focus Classic (I'm trying to find a skin or replacement for this)
Chinchilla
Satrina Buff Frames
Prat
KgPanels
SLDT
MikScrollingCombatText
Outfitter

I love Mik scrolling combat text, Omen is pretty much the standard for threat meters, I like X-perl for it's flexability for party/raid frames (have tank and healer alts) which helps to get things where I want them to be, it also has nice big debuff icons with timers on them, Elkano's buffbars is nice for managing your own buffs a bit better, organizes them nicely and shows timers as well
