If I had 214,748g 36s and 48c, I would give 21,474g 83s and 64c to all of my characters. Then I would transfer them all to different servers and begin to manipulate the Auction Houses there for profit.

Well, the first option for me would be epic flyers for my mage and rogue.
If not that, then:
Finish mage's tailoring levels and make Spellfire Robe.
Get sword, bracers, gloves, helm enchanted.
Find some new pants;
these
are nice but just don't cut it any more.
Get blue/epic gems for his gear that needs it
Finish levelling enchanting
Make rogue's Primalstrike bracers and belt to go with his chest
Get Mongoose enchant for his last weapon
Get blue/epic gems for gear that needs it
Get new glove enchant since haste nerf made 10 haste kinda meh

and if I had that much gold? Hm...
Dunno, probably just max out all my alts professions and pay for enchants and stuff.
yeah, boring =P
hm... thats a kinda F-ed up number dont you think? i mean why not just cap it off at like 225,000g? 214,748g 36s 48c just seems like an odd number, all the OCD people would go out of their heads on that one

It's not an actual cap per se. You see, blizzard programming code uses a 32 bit binary digit to store the variable containing the value of your gold. Since binary is a 2 bit system, ie 0's and 1's, the maximum value that'd fit in such a variable is 2^31 (31 not 32 since computer's start counting from zero unlike us), which equals the figure mentioned.
Edit: Its probably 30 bits allocated not 32, now that I think about it :)
