Your spec is fine. That's the cookie cutter you've got rocking there.
Your gear, however, is not.
I advise you read
this thread
, and take heed particularily of its PvE 'rotation' and gear/gem sections.
Get that gemmed and enchanted asap. You're also not at the hit cap, either. Spriest hit cap is 289 because of both Misery and Shadow Focus. That is the biggest upgrade you could go for right now.
Mark of the War Prisoner
would be an easy find and will help a lot.
Be sure to use a
Chaotic Skyflare Diamond
in your meta socket, and check that thread for how you should gem everything else.
As far as your rotation goes, it's more of a priority system. And it's all covered in that thread i linked earlier dedicated to Shadow Priests.

Well, I was above 1K (I think) - My rotation are Vampiric Touch -> Mind Blast ->
Shadow Word: Pain -> Devouring Plague -> Vampiric Embrace -> Mind Flay.. than I keep doing Mind Blast ->
Shadow Word: Pain -> Devouring Plague -> Vampiric Embrace -> Mind Flay
The thing is, at least with my experience, there isn't exactly a set rotation for Shadow. Your opening rotation is important to build a stack of 5 Shadow Weaving before you land your Shadow Word: Pain (I usually go Devouring Plague > Vampiric Touch > Mind Flay (3 ticks) > SW:P > Mind Blast). After that, and once all your dots are up, its a matter of keeping your dots up, casting Mind Blast every time it's off cooldown, and filling in the gaps with Mind Flay. That's the basics of it, though.
However (and armory is down, so I can't see your spec atm), the problem with your on-going rotation is, if you're spec'd into
Pain and Suffering
(as you should be!), there is literally no reason for you to need to constantly recasting Shadow Word: Pain unless it's a fight where you're moving around a lot (the only fights I can think of off the top of my head where I have to do that a lot are Razorscale in Ulduar, Emalon in VoA, and Vesperon in Obsidian Sanctum). If you need to constantly recast SW:P... you're doing something wrong, either in your basic "rotation" or your spec.
The best place to look for info though to help you out would be
http://www.shadowpriest.com
. There is a lot of good info there on casting rotations, gearing up, and just basic shadow info. As others have said regarding gear, your priority at the moment should be Hit (to 289, in the meantime you can supplement that with
an Elixir
and/or
some food
), then Spellpower, then Crit/Haste. Hit is the big one- just by being hit-capped you should see an improvement in your DPS.

First of all, you made the right choice in coming here and getting help. If you need further help, I'd recommend
shadowpriest.com
.
Your first priority should be improving your spell rotation. If your at 80 and doing 1k dps or less, it looks like you bought your toon. I'll try to give you a few quick pointers that'll help you instantly do more damage...yes, instantly (at least on some).
Your opening rotation is of minor importance, however, it is
CRITICAL
that SW:P isn't applied until after 5 stacks of
SW
are applied. This is because when MF refreshes SW:P (PaS) it doesn't refresh to your current SW stack.
Your enchants/gems should focus on spell power > crit > spirit/int. If your focusing on something other than those, your wrong.
For gear,
Gearing Up for Raids III
would be very bennifical (even if it's not fully complete).
An easy opening rotation is VT > MB > DP > MF3 > SW:P > MB > VE (there are different ones, but for now, this is all you need).
As for a "spell rotation" spriests have a "spell priority." This priority being VT > DP > MB > MF (SW:P and VE should only be applied once for most fights, and therefor doesn't come into the list). For now, only cast SW:D when forced to move for some reason; once you get everything down, you can use it instead of MF if you have 1-2s on your CD to VT, DP, and MB.
1 hit = 1.31pp (when not capped)
1 sp = 1pp
1 crit = .71pp
1 haste = .65pp (soft cap is 300ish)
1 int = .21pp
1 spi = .21pp
With the armory down, I can't tell you a whole lot else. If you need to just practice on your rotation, get on a dummy in IF and throw your spells around. Use the addon Recount to figure out what your dps is and test what you can do to improve it.

I did some research around the web (Thank you Google) and found some interesting post(s) on SPriests -
http://www.ensidia.com/home/guides/priest-shadow-part-1-general/
< Good info for people like me who needs help and of course thanks to you guys @ Wowhead for the great help and taking the time to help me out.
"Your first priority should be improving your spell rotation. If your at 80 and doing 1k dps or less, it looks like you bought your toon."
@ Aldones - No, I have lvled him from lvl 1-80. It's just that I'm having some hard times on what I need and what I should be looking for to do heavy damage, but that's all cleared out, thanks to you guys and other people's guide(s) around the web on how to play a SPriest.
/hug all.
Never once was I suggesting that you did buy it, but it's what can appear to be the case. I know I've grouped w/ some people that definatly make me wonder...
