So i cant seem to find a decent rogue for my 2v2, and i thought i could give a go at a prot healing build to play with my DK tank friend.
With a build that looks pretty much like this
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sxhdxhZxGzNruMhsfufd:ibMV0z
Nvm the 51 pointer, i took it so to swap to a melee weap and assist with dmg if needed).
Wich stats will i need to focus on?
Something like stam > res > haste > sp > crit? (haste to be harder to interrupt mainly).
Also, wich meta should i use? (basicly what type of cc is more dangerous to the spec, if stuns or fears?).
You can probably armory my character on his beta spec and gear, very fun to play so far just a little too much vulnerable to mage+rogue and rogue+lock, if my partner doesnt manage to burn any of them before aura mastery + bubble are over.
I would also know if it's worth picking
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42614
, considering FoL is the main heal i am using 267 x 12% x 5% x 5% x 6% = 349 more healing from it looks great, like 600 bigger crits wtf Oo
Last question: would you use
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40382
or
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40685
or
a battlemaster / flow of knowledge?

First of all this is the spec I would go with (
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#sxGdxhzoZxGzAruMbsfur:Rbsmzc
)
There is no real need for Hammer of Righteous, It wont deal a signifigant amount of damage. I would get the glyph of Avengers sheild to make it deal double damage, I can get 6k Crits with it along with a 3 second silence is pretty nice. I would also pick up Divine favor for those tight situations. For your seal use Justice so you get that chance to stun a healer on melee its on a different DR than Hammer so you can be like, Sheild+Silence, Hammer, then Justice Stun. Thats alot of down time for the healer. This is a great spec to try the only thing is without Holyshock, its hard to jump right in a get a quick heal, so keep Sacred Sheild on your target to insure a crit flash, I can get like 9k crit flashes, and just keep working at its a hard to get used to.

I use a spec exactly like your's bender, I wouldn't agree with Protector's spec w/e.
I will say yes for sure get that libram, as most if not all of your healing will be flash spamming. Especially with the flash glyph and gladiator gloves.
The stat priority in my opinion is Stam>Crit. Those are the only 2 stats I try to stack with gems and enchants. Enough resilience will be on the pvp gear that you won't have to worry about it. Stam will give you health and spell power, and crit will cover your mp5 nicely. The infinite divine plea will solve any other longevity problems. I don't even bother with haste.
For trinket I would use the first one you linked or flow of knowledge, again I don't really care for haste in pvp.
Meta gem is a personal choice, I try to cover my main weakness and picked up the one that reduces silence duration by 10%. I imagine the restore mana on spellcast would be effective as well.
I don't share your weakness vs mage lock, maybe because my partner is a feral, but rouges do next to nothing to me, and mages are squishy enough that my partner can take him down b4 major damage is done. For fighting rouges you can tank them with holy shield and sacred shield if the mage isn't blasting your face, and keep hand of sacrifice or divine sacrifice on your partner, so it will break you out of polymorph. The only thing left to worry about in my opinion is if they get you with a good burst while your silenced, but if you time your aura mastery and divine shield well you should outlast them without too much problems. Definitely just keep your dk all over that mage.

Been playing a few matches last night and it was great fun :)
I got owned by a couple of DKs (1 was furious geared, the other had a betrayer etc, get the point...)
I guess 2 mind freeze are too much to take with the kind of damage they can do with 2 gargoyles, 2 ghouls (hallo stun)... it was just too much.
Another thing that shocked me was a Glad mage, that killed me with a 6.5k arcane barrage crit (now consider 711 resilience, consider all the % reduction from prot... brrrr)...
I cant believe people complains about retribution, when i see one coming off the gates i take a breath of relief.

Let them have it, means more free arena ratings for the rest of us.

Ooo I feel you on those dks, they have enough interupts/silences to really ruin your day, fighting 2 at once definitely takes some control! So glad my partner can cyclone. Dunno what to say about that mage though, ouch. I hate fighting shamans or disc priests myself, mad interupts or mana burns respectively makes for extremely frustrating fights.

I play 2k feral/prot healer. You can check out my 2's partner on my feral for spec/enchants/glyphs. It's basically stam>crit . You only really need stam and crit. You have to learn to fake cast tho.
We are pretty mean. That shield really is a game finisher on disc priests. They try to save their cooldowns, and I have all my debuffs up and I'm smashing their face in when they get a silence/burst of holy damage and can't cast pain suppression when the 6.5-7k crits with 2 DoT's up start rolling in! Ouch.... Nothing makes us happier than a healer/dps game that lasts 15 seconds. =)
Also, having an undispellable source of mana is a good reason to bait mana burns while the DPS is setting up for a major burst on the healer. They suddenly look up when their screen starts flashing and you saved the interupt for the heals... LAWL!

2k rating? nice. Me and my partner are stuck at 1500, having tons of trouble with druid/dk teams. How do you deal with them?
