Counting Macro

My guild was working on Vezax last night, and the interrupts after a while started becoming a problem; occasionally, you get a
perfect storm
in which everyone's interrupt happens to be on CD, so a better way of coordinating interrupts must be crafted.
I was thinking it would be useful to have a macro that could send out text into a melee only channel which would basically count to three then reset back to one. In other words, the first time it is used, the macro would say "interrupt group ONE", the second time say "interrupt group TWO", and "interrupt group THREE" in which each `group` would have one or two (depending on how many melee there are) people who's job it is to attempt an interrupt that cycle.
So, anyone have any suggestions? Basically it's a castsequence, but can castsequence be used to send text to a channel?

/cast kick
/6 Holy crap! I interrupted it!
That is my EXACT kick macro for vezax... That's all you really need. Sure, it's a lil spammy if I'm short energy and trying to kick, but if that happens it tells the other people in the interrupt channel something is going wrong and they can react.

So, for those of you who simply use a macro that tells others when you are using your interrupt, how do you avoid all available interrupters using theirs at the same time? It's a fast cast, so there is little time to wait and see if anyone else is going to use theirs.

The person who's interrupting knows who the person before him is and then they just watch the channel.
I'll typically have the other interrupters also add the name of the next person in line to their macro as well.
In other words, you'd do something like:
/cast kick
/6 Holy Crap! I interrupted it! >> VLET IS NEXT <<
Then you just have people go around in order. It's a fairly common strat, and has been used for ages.

So you're basically doing the same thing I'm attempting to do, but I'm attempting to do it within one macro instead of spread out amongst each individuals' systems. You also seem to be more brave with your interrupts which leads me to believe your guild is further in progression. For groups currently working on getting a boss down, safety is better than trying to minimize impact on melee's already nerfed damage on this fight in my opinion.

Well, to answer my own question, here's code that I just wrote to do it:
/script local ic = getglobal("interrupt_count");
/script if (ic == nil) then ic = 1; end
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(ic);
/script ic = ic + 1;
/script if (ic > 3) then ic = 1; end
Next time I'll just RTFM

Why not set up a rotation of interuptors;
Person1 interupts cast 1,4,7,10
Person 2 interupts cast 2,5,8,11
Person 3 interupts cast 3,6,9,12
Seems like the simplest way to me tbh

Because, being human, one will lose count.

We just shove the interrupters into another vent channel and they talk about it during the fight.
