Mounts/Pets without the profession.

For some mounts/ pets you need to have a specific profession,
like tailoring for the flying carpets, or engineering for the gyrocopter and lil smoky.
But what happens if i decide to learn a different profession?
Would i still be able to keep and summon the mounts/pets?
Does anyone have experience with that?

The mounts will still be in your spellbook and will count towards their respective achievements, they won't be summonable though.

Ah, ok thanks a lot.
I personally don't really care about the achievement, i just would like to have a gyrocopter,
without keeping engineering,
seems like it's not possible.
