Right-Clicking problems (Firefox)
Return to board index
Post by

So I'm using the latest Firefox and I haven't been able to right click anything with an internal link without the annoying default menu dropping down.
It was a pain in a talent calculators until I read about Shift-clicking. That works there. But I'm experiencing a new problem with the profiler.
A normal Left-Click will open the link to the item in question.
When I Right-Click I get the default firefox menu that would appear over any link. This obstructs the wowhead drop down menu.
Shift-Clicking opens a new window of that link and having to alt-tab back to the original window to see the menu (and hope I didn't click anywhere else) is getting on my nerves a bit.
So, what options do I have to tinker with to get firefox to stop putting up that damn menu on every single link?

Just saying 'firefox' isn't enough for them to trace the issue. You should probably include your full version string (help -> about -> copy the string at the bottom of the window that pops up).

It's been like this since 3.0
Plus, just about anyone who uses Firefox always has it updated.
So, anyone got any settings I can tweak for this?

It
does
matter...
For example, here's my Windows Version String:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.2; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060215 Firefox/3.0.11
And my Linux one:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042513 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.10
As you can see they're different. Any extra information will help expedite them fixing it.
Both are running the latest revision of Firefox for their respective OS.

Can you repost this in the
Profiler Feedback
thread so we can get it solved that way?
