I've used SpartanUI for about a year now, I became a big fan of it at first, I came to the point that I wanted to change my whole UI around though, and when I did I had the hardest time adapting to a new UI mainly because of the unit frames and where I had always had my bars set up. I agree with others that I didn't know what to do when I had so much free space at the bottom of my screen. I know they are working on a update to fix the map problem, even though you can replace it with sexymap and it makes it look real cool. The update though has been taking a really long time. If I could just find a UI that uses similar target frames as SpartanUI, than I will probably just revamp my UI, til then I've still been using it for all my toons.

The new spartan UI is in beta now, you can get the new version here
Spartan RC4
its updated for 3.2 and works very well, they changed the player frame and party frames. All in all a well done update. I have been using it for about 4 months now.

Ooh that looks pretty, I'll give it a go.
...
It installs really nicely. I really like this.
...
Hmmm, that's a bit annoying. I'll fix that later.
...
Oh FFS!
...
Jesus! This thing is really hard to do anything with at all.
...
Wow! It's so long since I used the default UI, I forgot just how good it was.
^ that's why you use the new version, i have yet to have any issues at all with it, And its much easier to get to fit and not take up all that much room
