Character:
Felicity Brighthammer
Location:
Suramar
Felicity cocked her head, as if something were just out of hearing. She furrowed her brow and set off down the hall, still with that distracted look.
Character:
Jezebel
Location:
Suramar
Jezebel turned away slowly. The feeling had faded. A spike of pure lust and naked desire she knew too well. Another queen was in the Nighthold.
But it didn't matter.
"The chamber is secured, my Queen," Lord Falamar said. The nightborn was fairly quivering with an awareness of Jezebel, his fel tainted eyes burning with love and desire for the statuesque figure of feminine perfection before him.
"
For now
," Jezebel said, her voice rolling through the room like muttering thunder. She swept past him and to the edge of the pit. She looked down to where the nightwell's power rose in a piercing column of power, swirling and twisitng around itself as it was funneled upwards towards the ritual above. Jezebel smiled coldly.
It didn't matter how many other queens were in the temple, she thoughts, opening her arms, extending her dark talons towards the well. None of them could stop her.
Not anymore.
Tendrils of power twined through the air, drawn to her. She jolted as they touched her arms, a gasp of pure pleasure escaping her dark lips as the Nightwell's magic twisted down her claws, her arms. Her wings snapped out, their shimmer blazing a kaleidoscope of power as the magic filtered into her.
"
Yesssss
," she moaned, throwing her head back in ecstasy.
Character:
Caliban
Location:
Suramar
The nightborn had been standing guard for well over an hour now. Tassa was wary, her staff vibrating with magic. She'd heard a band of lunatics had broken through the front gate and were carving their way through towards Gul'Dan's ritual. She was wary about the whole process, but the Grand Magistrix knew what she was doing. And she had to stay here. Remain on guard to ensure no one else snuck into the palace.
Her fellow guard stood on the other side of the door, leaning on his staff. He held himself taut and ready.
Tassa heard a sigh, a thump around the corner and jerked her head that way. She exchanged a glance with her companion and slowly lowered her staff.
And froze as a demon stepped around the bend.
She'd seen many demons since the warlock's coming into Suramar. Yet, none like this one. His flesh was pale and flawless as marble. His chest was slim but muscled, bared by an opened black jacket that drifted around his ankles. He was handsome. More than handsome. Not even the asymmetry of a broken horn could deny that. Dark wings fluttered lazily, and Tassa sucked in a breath as a strange scent wafted over her, her eyes fluttering as a heat bloomed through her.
"Well hello there," the demon purred, and oh but that sound sent a jolt straight through her.
"Hey!" her companion barked, starting. "Who are you?"
Tassa opened her mouth to try and ask the same, but her tongue felt heavy and unwieldy in her mouth. Her cheeks flamed with a blush. The demon merely smiled, his pupils predatory slits against a backing of gold. Tassa shifted her staff in front of her, half to deny the demon approaching, mostly just to hold herself up.
"You friend knows me," the demon said.
"Tassa?"
She couldn't look away. Held by his steady gaze. He was in front of her. When had he crossed the room? He touched her chin, and she whimpered.
"Tassa?" he said, and her name was like honey on those lips. "What a lovely name."
And he kissed her. Tassa moaned, her knees weakening, her eyes rolling back in her head. So sweet was it, she never even felt the dagger slip between the seams of her armour and into her heart. She sagged, his kiss hungry as if eating her life even as it left her.
"Ancients!" Jadin spat as Tassa crumpled to the floor with a sigh of delight. He swung around his staff.

Siveena was curled up upon the bed; fast asleep.
"There's an option besides Jezebel?" Silvia asked.
Zalexdrad
Suramar
"That's me." Zalexdrad smirked. As if to counter; he lifted one of the Queen's spiked gauntlets.

The stairwell grew less damp as they ascended. Oddly, occasionally a rock or rocks felt past them from above. The materials changed too, looking newer and more modern. After a few minutes, legs burning, a faint clinking sound was audible from within the crumbling stonework. A heavy thing the size of a cat scuttled past Kalina and circled back.
One of the worker constructs.
Angrida, Ingmar Everett, Vahij
Suramar
"I am not," the queen agreed. "It... isn't my place, but I don't think your friends properly appreciate your perspective..."
She took his hand and put it over her heart. "Is there anything you want?" She inquired breathily, chest heaving as she gave him a conspiratorial look. "Materials? Information? Name it, it's yours."
Ingmar hurried after Felicity. The engineer was clearly talking animatedly to himself, about what he did not want to know...
"Why?" Angrida asked eventually.

Character: Richard Grindgear
Location: Suramar
Richard pulled his hand away. "You're too smart for this." He said. "I saw your work in Draenor and while it was terrible the thought behind it made me wonder who could do something like that. Then I saw the scorpions and thought the same thing." He explained. "If you could use what you know to help people instead of destroying them there's no limit to what you could achieve." He said before pausing to think. "Murder is easy we all can do it, fel a rock can do the job. But using that brain of yours to help people is something I'd like to see." He told her.
Character: Salena
Location: Suramar
Salena's eyes narrowed as she stared at the castle in the distance. "Angrida? Vahij? There's another queen here but she's hiding her presence well but she's near Jezebel." She explained.

Kalina
Suramar
"The fel was that?" Kalina wondered, the dim light not quite enough to make out things in the darkness, but the lamps bright enough to spoil her night vision. Her voice was stressed.
Shira
Suramar
Shira hesitated, not knowing whether Caliban intended that she deal with the other guard similarly, or more directly. In spite of all her outward confidence, she was less than certain she could handle the former. The recent memory of her last embarrassment settled it, when she decided to never again hand over the initiative willingly. She snarled at the guard, her muscles tensing up as she conjured a wave of shadow to wash over him.

Kazhra
Suramar
"Looked like a scorpion," Kazhra observed with some surprise, having noted the arachnid's rough shape and approximate number of limbs, looking around for where it had gone. Were they native to Suramar?
"Felsteel, arcane crystals and saronite." The watcher listed. Her senses were more attuned to such things.
Kazhra followed her gaze. Now even more so the orcess did not trust the thing's odd behaviour. She gave it a quick kick off the stairwell.
Angrida, Ingmar Everett, Vahij
Suramar
Angrida was not contented with that answer. "But what is that? We don't have knights, not anymore..."
Her hand did not leave his. "Need. I didn't dispose of anyone who wouldn't have otherwise fallen, one cannot save everyone..." The illusionist responded. "-Like your mana bomb, without it the Alliance would have dealt death the slow way. Why be on your knees for those intent on reliving dark ages when you could better the universe yourself Richard? Why give them your allegiance?" She stepped in closer again. "I wouldn't ask for blind loyalty..."

"Okay, we're not staying here. Quick march", Kalina snapped, picking up the pace a fair bit. It was difficult in the darkness.

He didn't react to her advancement instead stepping closer himself so he could look her in the eye. "You think I did that on purpose?" He asked her a hint of anger in his voice. "It wasn't supposed to be like that. That wasn't supposed to be a bomb but a new form of energy to help move the alliance and ultimately the horde forward and away from there senseless conflicts but instead they turned it against innocent's that only helped the enemy because it was all they knew." He told her. "I'm not blind to what a few of them are but I'm not going to turn my back on the rest of them because they still need help and I can do something about it. I'm asking you to help those that actually need it and stop helping the one that want's to use your creations for death." He said.

A snarl was all she heard in the midst of rounding a corner. Felicity jerked back in surprise as a fel hound slammed into her with such force she was sent skidding back across the ground in a hail of sparks. Her shock was momentary, the next instant she rammed her fist down it's throat, its fangs scraping the steel of her arm uselessly.

The other nightborn slammed into the wall by the force of the shadow, driving the wind from him, the spell he had been casting dying with a crackle.

Suramar
Kazhra hurried after Kalina. There were dozens of the things moving within the confines ancient passageway.
Finally they came to a metal ladder. It was new, unlike the stairwell, and simplistically functional.
Angrida, Ingmar Everett, Vahij
Suramar
"But you aren't ashamed to be sayaad, are you?"
"Yet you know there is a price that comes with advancement, you said so yourself - anything can be used as a weapon..." Vahij reminded him, meeting his gaze as he stepped in right up against her, her chest a finger's breadth from his face. "No matter what I gave the Alliance or the Horde, they would be at another's throats within weeks. Too much blood's drawn to unify them without an element of might, you know they don't think like you do..."
She sighed. "But you do it your way Richard, keep placating yourself with their lies and niceties while they disappoint you again and again. You'll find me if you change your mind, provided they don't break your spirit first..."
With that the illusion faded and Vahij's presence with it.
Ingmar swung his mace downward at the hound's hindquarters.

Character: Richard Grindgear
Location: Suramar
Richard stared at the spot Vahij was at. She couldn’t be far the energy required for such a spell plus getting threw his mental barriers would mean she’s have to be the palace somewhere. He thought about tracking her down to continue this but hearing Felicity down the hallway snapped him back.
“We’re not done here.” He said before he ran down the hallway to find Felicity being attacked by a fel hound and he swung his fist at the side of the creatures head.
Character: Demine
Location: Suramar
Demine stood outside the central room. She could hear Jezebel threw the door as she absorbed the night wells energy and it made her giggle. It didn’t mater if the horde or alliance drove back the legion because soon her love would be unstoppable and all of them will know her power. She stopped before the door hesitant to enter but she didn’t want to break her concentration and besides, the next time she wanted to see Jezebel was after her transformation was complete.
Instead she continued to pace before the door.

The fel hound yelped, ripped off Felicity. The paladin jerked up, looking up the hall ahead.
A triumphant looking Nightborn stood at the end of the hall, her face twisted in a snarl of glee, her eyes blazing with fel. Blackened fel iron draped her in jagged, jutting spikes, baring her midriff and upper arms. Her hair twisted like a mass of writhing shadow behind her, while near a dozen fel hounds snarled at her side.
Felicity narrowed her eyes, recognizing the Nightborn from Stormheim. "You."
"My mistress will praise me for your head!" the nightborn giggled. "She will pet me and rub my belly and I will kneel and love her!"
Felicity blinked. "What?"
"Kill the %^&*!" the nightborn squealed. She drew back her arm, drawing a bow whose arrowtip had an alarmingly jagged look to it. She fired at Ingmar, the arrow streaking with fel fire like a green comet. The felhounds surged forward like phantom leashes were undone, howling, stalks waving, the air around them distorting as they devoured the thick magic between them and their prey.

Rivulets of water running down her armour, Vahij stepped from the scrying pool and looked to the palace. The succubus reached for an enchanted communicator.
Angrida, Ingmar Everett
Suramar
Angrida studied him for a few moments as to confirm the truth. Her tail give his a squeeze as she continued. "I like Azerothians, but we're better at love..."
"I helped three purified sayaad in Draenor, they were Azerothians once, but I thought maybe one day we could be like that too... Only, us." She ran her hand down his chiselled torso unashamedly.
Dodging, the worgen winced as the arrow was deflected against his sloped pauldron and ripped through his cheek, leaving a burning sensation.
Morrum
Suramar
There came the clank of heavy boots on marble from behind Caliban and Shira, the pale half-orc striding forth from one of the lesser doorways.
"Here for the party?" He inquired cordially, smiling. He tossed a handheld trigger at their hooves. Hissing filled the corridor, tear gas beginning to pour into the corridor from above.

Felicity scrambled to her feet. She glanced about quickly, finding her fallen sword by its glow among the marble. She hurled herself after it, grabbing it and twisting to her feet just as a second fel hound surged for her.
Davia cursed as she drew another arrow as smoothly as a dancer and fired another blazing round at the worgen.
One of the felhounds went down, Titanstrike's round punching through it from head to tail. It fell, skidding to the floor, tangling up two of its brothers, but the rest surged on, closing the distance in a breath. One lunged for Richard, teeth like knives wide to meet his throat.

Caliban coughed. His wings gave a great beat, driving back the smoke for a moment to reveal the trigger. He kicked it back towards the orc.
