Bly is the leader of a group of captives in Zul'Farrak. Once you release the group, a load non-elite mobs and a few elites spawn at the bottom of the temple and accend the stairs in several waves. STAY ONTOP OF THE TEMPLE! Once a certain number of waves have accended, the npc group will head down the steps while a few more waves come. At the very bottom are 2 elite mobs.

Once you've killed the 2 elites, the npc group will stand around. At this point, talk to the goblin FIRST and he will go blow up the door leading to the last 2 boss's in the centre of the instance, then he will run off. Then, have someone talk to Bly, and after a short convo, the npc's will turn hostile. Kill them and your done

Here is a nice trick I found:
First, talk to the goblin so he will open the doors.
Now, wait for the characters to start using their Hearthstones, now talk to Bly. What will happen is that the other NPC's will HS away and only Bly will remain and fight.

Once you've opened his cage (make sure it's his that you open), you will have to fight off the troll attack waves and bosses. Once this has completed, speak with Bly and that will start the fight with him and his companions.

was weird... we fought off the 100 troll wave... and we were rebuffing up and what not... and wouldn't you know... everyone but Bly hearthed outta there... so we couldn't blow up that door!

hes at the top of the pyramid with a whole wack of other mobs, pick off 1 by one and it can be done, he's 18k HP, (best if u have a group)

Careful to keep the goblin alive,but,if you dont help Bly near end then there's a chance someone or few dies,and oh if you're doin quest to get Bly's staff,try keeping Bly alive to.But if Raven,Gougeeye Orc and/or that Dwarf Priest die/dies itll be much easier

There is a rumor going around that I hear every time I do this fight. Everybody says turn on PVP to get heals. As far as I see, this is completely false. I've watched their priest and I've never seen her heal anyone in my party. Plus I can't heal them. And they aren't even alliance.

Anybody else hearing these things?

so we do the stairs bit , and i'm kind of proud cause i was lvl 44.just as i get optimistic we sit to rest a bit down stairs and then we would talk to bly...then they all disappear...don't do the same mistake i did.

He must be a reference to Lieutenant Bly, from the ship "The Bounty", where a mutiny happened... There is a movie about it, it's actually a true story.
