This is only used for the crafting of the Lionheart Helm and Wolfshead Helm, so to most players it is mostly useless and it ends up as vendor fodder.
If your a Druid, Warrior or Palladin, keep it. You might not want it know, but in the future it will save you some money and time.
If your not one of these classes, auction it. It might not look like it, but a warrior whos collecting the mats for a LHM will pay very good for it.

If you are a druid and don't have tribal leatherworking then you can just sell it to vendor or at the AH. No point in keeping it if you can't use it.

I have to go out and farm all of them because the AH doesn't carry these anymore. I bought like 4 (max stock) for about 12s each.

I've had good luck in Winterspring against the Yeti's (at least getting to 60 with a few alts), but I vendored most of them, not realizing I need 'em for my Lionheart helm.

Instead of writing some bull$%^& replies about "omg AH price is low for these, until someone FINDS THE RECIPE!" "omfg grindin these sux" why don't you actually contribute.

I find a lot of these things while killing Panther's on the Island close to Booty Bay. You know the place with the huge Gorilla on? There.

I can imagine the best droprates for these would be from some sort of cat, so think of a place where there is an abundance of them and farm it for a while, see what happens.

Two places i can think of at the moment are the Panther's on Jaguar Isle (or something) in STV and Winterspring sabres in northern Winterspring.

I just got one of these off of a cat in Swamp of Sorrows. Only hunted for two days so far, so not sure what the rate is, but you might want to check here for fairly easy collection. The cats are present at the entrance of the area and continue in to the East for about half of the area. Can be pulled singly by anyone 35+ solo.

I have about 30 to go as well.. Takes the longest to get for me.. cos the other mats I have bought.. well not the bar but the crystal and then i get ppl to xmute em ;) Ive been in Winterspring grinding these for like ... an hour 1/2 .. it'll be worth it tho :P

wicked claws are cake compared to the other mats. When hunting for arcanite in burning steppes kill the imps, they have a good chance to drop 1 or 2. And if you have guild mates they can send you what they find since they are otherwise worthless
