I was always under the impression that the item level was what level of mobs you had to go against (or at least the difficulty of the mobs) to get the item to drop. I'm still somewhat noobish at lvl 48, so I'm not sure if it's true, but if there's a lvl 72 item, I would think it would be from a high lvl raid instance thus such a high lvl item. Whereas a lvl 35 item could be dropped from say a lvl 40'ish mob.

Either that or that a green item that's lvl 40 is the equivalent of a lvl 45 gray item or something like that.

About the set however... neat.

no man, im a 60 priest goin for this set. its better int than devout and takes fewer peices. i have 3/5 now an all i can tel u about looks is that it is retarded, espescially weth devout shoulders. its brown and kinda looks like a sweatsuit. it is extremely hard to 5 man, but askin around IF (or ogrimar) u should be able to find a group easily, and just pick it up on the way. what rocks is that nobody really has it, or is goin for it, so if it drops and u collectin u will most likely get it. agreed the agil is retarded and hat ring sucks butt, but imagine gettin 5% faster run speed, then a sped enchant on boots. not that this is in any way a pvp set, no stam at all, but it'd be cool to run way faster

Drops from Postmaster malown. You needs to have the keys from the Courier, thats just inside main entrance, then left, and left again. He drops 3 keys, on the third postbox you open Postmaster Malown pops out. He drops either set item or postmaster item.
I have been trying to get Magister's boots from this guy some times now ;O

I think someone may have mentioned this somewhere but in case they didn't--this set is a tribute to ex NBA star Karl "Mailman" Malone. Thats probably why the sweatsuit looking gear and agility.

Let me just fill you in on how hard it is to complete this set.

First of all, you need to start a 10 man raid group and get to the entrance of SC Strat. Usually takes a good 30 minutes.

Then you convince the group to kill the Stratholme Courier. Tell them that if he drops bad keys you will skip postmaster and save keys for another run.

If you get a nice set of keys, IE: Crusader, Fras, Kings, or Market. (any of these three), you must then convince the entire group to kill the Postmaster. This is the annoying part, because you always get little 7 year olds that tell you that postmaster is UD Strat, or that Magisters Boots suck. (Fact is, the Postmaster is a much better set, but that's besides the point.)

The Postmaster fight is pretty hard, harder than Balnazzar fight by a longshot. If people goof off because he is a "joke" boss, you will probably get malowned.

I recommend you master looter this boss. Only start your own groups if you are after this set. Many people will roll on parts you need without realizing how rare it is, or how hard you have been trying to get this set.

It usually takes about 15-16 Malowne kills to get every piece except the headpiece. If you are at this, I must give you my grats. If you are after the hat, then I must say good luck. I have been after the hat for the longest time, atleast 56-59 Postmaster frags. If any of you are ML when it drops, take it. That's how rare it is.

I got the full set within 7 runs when trying to get my Magister's Boots. This set is crap.

I think you went more than a little crazy with your obsession with the Postmaster. When I was doing Strat with my war, all 5 dropped in 10 runs. That just goes to show that when you looking for an item, it never drops, and when your not it always drops.

the stats on these were changed in 1.10, pretty good now, i only saw the chestpiece though.

I've done the postmaster a hundred times and he doesn't want to give me his hat!

It's pretty hard to get all pieces... this set diserves better stats :p

i'm all for speed buffs but that if you got a horse does it give you +70% or +110

Ofcourse movement speed does not stack with ur mount, however as I understand it, enchants will stack with item values, so it is possible to get up to 15-20% icreased movement.

Imagine a mage with that + tele... unescapeble ^^
