This is a good change. I've leveled almost every class to 15-20 in beta and some classes feel incredibly bad earlier levels, especially around 12-14 bracket solely due to lack of basic +1/+2 gear.

My holy strike will deal 1 more damage and I will have 11 more mana. Get owned boars

Getting the first green random drop was always a huge event as a new player back then. Maybe getting them earlier dilutes that feeling a bit, but still, a good change I guess.

Also a GREAT change for enchanters, the early levels of the profession are kind of rough.

Overall, a big W.

Comment by Seniaa

If anything this largely helps Enchanting. 1 of a stat at level 7 or whatever is fairly negligible, meanwhile the early levels of Enchanting are usually extremely rough due to the lack of greens to actually DE especially since you're not really DE'ing quest rewards or anything until AFTER you replace them 3 levels later or whatever.

I like it.
Always thought it was dumb I could kill a rare and it drop a white.

Great Change. It was so weird that you only got White useless gear until Level 10-12. This change makes it a tiny bit faster at the beginning where you don't have Talent points and you don't do much Damage.

Comment by RanceRaptor

Now make the dungeon quest gear blues again too!

Comment by CasCassCasch

Leather strength and cloth agility? Okay, yes, leather wearers can benefit from strength, agility would make a lot more sense though.

Gotta minmax the first 5 levels now.

Comment by TheRealAmelio

Why do melee get items that give them damage stats at this level and casters don't? Not even 1 spell power?

Comment by Vivien

we need blue items from chests too. we need more dopamine

Comment by Eyevou

Let's be real. The first couple of hours you're still going to be running around in white gear with MAYBE a couple greens. The 12-20 range has always been rough and this might smooth it out a bit but it's by no means going to ruin the game's early level balance - the new quests added to the starting zones already did that.

Gotta love agility cloth.

For god sake, why they changing the items progression? Classic was perfect the way it was. I dont have trouble to add things, but the first green, rhe first bleu, the first purple need to be special. They shouldn't fall from the sky

Comment by AshenLuck

If it aint too common (we dont swim in greens at those levels),t then its very good change!
