World of Streamcraft, where the community is ignored or forgotten, and Streamers get everything they want as long as they *!@#$ loudly enough on twitter!

Specificially logged in to upvote you. !@#$ streamers, they are cancer and Blizzard should stop listening and catering to them.

Comment by Killsomethin

good to see streamers getting dev access to the world for their own thing, Praise the favoritism .

This is so stupid. hopefully the pit fills with lava during the event. I'm really disheartened to see Blizzard supporting this. All their talk of wow forever being about 'the journey' and a 'social' game, this just proves their kind of full of %^&*. They're endorsing an event that is antithetical the spirit of Forever. Forever is meant to be slower, less about the 'meta', and more about the bonds we make with others.

And yet...

Blizz is officially supporting an insane cash tournament that has everyone and their dog bumrushing content, min/maxing builds, engaging in RMT bull&*!@, and otherwise just creating a toxic cesspool of streamers. It &*!@ing sucks. And its all in a BETA for christ sakes.

As an 04 vet, i was hoping that Forever would be what it said it would be: a sort of retirement home for OG players, where we could enjoy the game we fell in love with in a slower, immersive, more natural way. But once again, ^&*!ing streamers, capitalism, and FOMO culture have torn their way into what could have been a beautiful, special experience and $%^& all over the floor.

hopefully the full release is free of these problems. I expect it wont be though.

Neat I guess, but spending dev time on some random streamer event during a beta is weird to me.

Yet again them doing something for that &*!@ ass tournament

Comments section bingo!

Let's see how long until someone brings for no reason:
- Streamers RMT drama.
~~- Retail.~~
- Alliance favoritism.
- Dungeons XP nerf.

Edit: Well, retail was already brought up while posting this haha.

Yay more special attention to streamers... when will it end already I'm so sick of this.

Comment by Tornado20

That's pretty cool

Amazing to see the devs supporting community events. Having a good relationship between players and developers and fostering the community and showcasing things like this creates a much healthier game.

Comment by Trivelius

I just hope everyone has a bad time.

Hopefully this gets it out of their (Blizzards) system and is a one and done so that Forever can go back to being about the journey not min maxing to make some cash.

I’m fine with PvP tournaments if put on by the player base, I don’t like the idea of a large cash prize which clearly incentivizes doing things I don’t consider healthy for Forever (min/max, RMT, etc). I don’t like the idea of Blizzard pushing or being behind things like this.

All of the RWF, Arena, M+, etc events are for the sweats and the sweats are what ruined WoW.

If I were to host a dueling tournament would I also get access to this exclusive dueling area?

Comment by DakMonkeyz

Don't really care about the tournament, but I think it's great that they have an area where to play outside of the normal players. Imagine the lag in Orgrimmar, if the duels and all of the fans of the tournament watching were chilling in front of the gates.

Comment by Nennius

okay. what about gold buyers and bots? you know, THE IMPORTANT STUFF.

Comment by Whanton

Just further evidence that wow Forever is a service for streamers to egostomp your average joes and to further encourage parasocial "trickle up" economics. Did we really think that Blizzard was trying to give everyone a "pure" wow experience? Its just a 3d twitch chat so far......

Comment by Vycewow

Came to look at the deranged comments and streamer hate i wasn't disappointed, this was an unused area, it would take 10mins to add a few vendors nothing was cut to add this and it's a test ground for a dueling area in a future patch.

Comment by Nexemis

disguating Blizz still simping for streamers. Forever is NOT going to be what classic was, just like current dev team is crap.

Comment by Darielakos

Cant wait for streamers and their simps to ruin the pvp server.

Comment by kravak

F**K streamers & the Devs, most should have been banned for RMT. Whilst Blizzard see this as great for the business it doesnt go down well with the community.
