To get the plans you must give one Sulfuron Ignot (Epic item that drops in Molten Core) to the Thorium Brotherhood NPC in the top layer of the bar in BRD (Black Rock Depths).

I managed to pick mine up a few weeks before the expansion for 20g. Id think now days they are very hard to get hold of as most guilds have stopped raiding Molten Core.

The following assumes utter accuracy from the drop rates reported by this site, so in other words: this could be total crap! buuuuuut, if you were curious as to the total amount of work going into this item.......

9x Sulfuron Ingot = 18x Golemagg the Incinerator = 90 days worth of raiding (1 per raid = 18 raids at 5 day lockout)
20x Dark Iron Bar = 160x Dark Iron Ore = 151 Dark Iron Deposits
50x Arcanite Bar = 50x Thorium Bar + 50x Arcane Crystal = 1667 (Rich) Thorium Veins + 100 Days of transmutes
25x Essence of Fire = 833 Fire Elementals
10x Blood of the Mountain = 2500 Dark Iron Deposits
10x Lava Core = 125 Lava Beasts in Molten Core
10x Fiery Core = 77 Firelords

total = 1053 mob kills
4167 mining loots
100 days

萨弗拉斯，炎魔拉格纳罗斯之手 Better than dual-wielding Arcanite Reapers. And that's saying something.

When you make this hammer it combines with a legandary eye that drops from Ragnaros.the stats of the hammer after you combine the two are
Two haned mace speed 3.70 223-372 damage 80.4 DPS
12 str 12 sta and 30 fire resistance... chance on hit of throws firey ball that causes 223-333 fire damage. When you equip it who ever hits you takes five fire damage. Dont believe the stuff on ala website on the Sulfuras, Hand of ragnaros because one person has made the item

评论来自 Allakhazam

umm hey if u get the magic item from ragnaros where the hell did ragnaros get it!
did he kill himself? cause i don't think thats the option intresting isn't it

Wow....

9 Sulfuron Ingots...
10 Blood of the Mountain
....
.....

wtf...

I'm not even a blacksmith and thats just plain crazy...

The weapon has to be a Legendary weapon... The amount of those materials is just insane.

评论来自 Allakhazam

The materials ... iiiiiiiiinsane, but don't we all long for a bit o' insanity ?

sheesh, the hardest thing is to get that stuff at one time to ONE person ... :D

I hope its something like a 70+ dps 2h hammer with +50 prisma stats, stun proc and +3 and +40 fire resis....

and that wouldn't even be worth the materials :D

评论来自 Allakhazam

I wanna buy this thing - cost is not an issue - just someone that can craft it and get it to me on the Quel Thalas EU server...

Anyone help me in this matter?

评论来自 Allakhazam

Must... see... item... stats...

You people seem to be forgetting something... Molten destroyers can drop Heart of the Mountain, Lava Cores AND Fiery Cores.

I don't know just how many of these there are running around in MC, but if you make a point of getting them all you're sure to get at least some of the materials. (Their drop rate for hearts of the mountain seem way better than the chance to get it off a Dark Iron Deposit.)

first person to get this item will be corefighter cough.

评论来自 Allakhazam

do u have to be exhalted reputation with Thorium Brotherhood to get this item ?

评论来自 Allakhazam

God damn it, Im stuck on this.

WHERE THE HECK DO I FIND BLACKSMITH HAMMER?
I've been raiding MC like 100 this week without finding one.

评论来自 Allakhazam

*cries*

yes, its alot of Arcanite, and the ignots are tough as balls to get... but I assume you have to use the same techniques as if it were a normal dark iron item... so you need to forge it in BRD...

评论来自 Allakhazam

Definitely Warrior/Paladin/Shaman weapon.
Don't even bother Hunters.

Need to be 300 Blacksmithing to craft (as the plans suggest).

well, since im the only HS in my guild ....i am looking forward to this....and then again i am not because..it prolly is the biggest P.O.S in exsistence 50/50 chance imo

评论来自 Allakhazam

If it is the Sulfuras, legendary stuff for something in silitus it might be for the BIG gong at the scarab wall, I bet that that openes a raidzone or something. if if so, the sick cost of the hammer will be split in the guild and it is possible to make it.

I create Arcanite bars, on Aggramar on the European servers, for a flat fee of 5g - if you're trying to make this and want a regular supply I'm willing to negotiate a discount. /w Eric, if I'm on, or send me a mail and I'm sure to reply soon.

You do not have to be exhalted with Thorium Brotherhood to get the plans for this. You also do not have to be a macesmith to make it. I got the plans at revered but I am told that you can get them as low as frindly as long as you have an ingot in your backpack it will trigger the ability to get the plans. The plans are on Lothos Darkbarginer in the bar in BRD.

IT seems like the hand of ragneros is better than the sulferon hammer when they are fused

评论来自 Allakhazam

stfu now.

get sulfuron ignot, drops at least from golemagg. if you got blacksmith 300(not sure if its absolutely necessary to GET plans but you'll need it later anyways), go to brd bar and talk to the guy who collects dark iron ore and stuff for rep(you dont need fukin exalted). you then just give sulfuron ignot away and receive plans: sulfuron hammer. gz.

The plan has been found in the test patch files as shown at http://wowtest.tripod.com/index.html There is a report that you get the plan by turning in a Sulfuron Ingot to Lokhtos Darkbargainer in the BRD bar. The stats of the Sulfuron Hammer are:

Sulfuron Hammer 2H Hammer (143-239) Speed 3.00, Proc: Hurl fiery ball for 83-101 fire + 16 damage over 8 sec., Level 60, 63.7 dps, (Epic)(Sold by Lokhtos Darkbargainer in BRD bar for 1 Sulfuron Ingot)
- 8 Sulfuron Ingots, 20 Dark Iron Bars, 50 Arcanite bars, 25 Essence of Fire, 10 Blood of the Mountain, 10 Lava Core, 10 Fiery Core

Ambit on magtheridon has the legendary hand of ragnaros.....omg lol hes gonna make it for me when i gather the mats wich will take a year or 2 lmao

评论来自 Allakhazam

Whatever the stats on this are im sure they are absolutly mindbogleing considering the fact that Minimum you would have to kill this guy 9 times to get the item, and thats saying that he drops the ingot 100% which so far it seems maybe a 50% drop rate. but with only 6 kills logged who knows what the real rate is on the ingot.

In order to get these plans, does one have to be a weapon smith or does it not matter what kind of blacksmith you are?

ok an approxiate estimate of this item based on the median cost of each item in the AH -except the ingot (hasn't been in the AH yet) - would be something like this:

Sulfurion Ingot: 300g x 9 = 2700g
Dark Iron Bar: 8g x 20 = 160g
Arcanite Bar: 29g x 50 = 1450g
Essence of Fire: 6g x 25 = 150g
Blood of the Mountian: 50g x 10 = 500g
Lava Core: 100g x 10 = 1000g
Fiery Core: 70g x 10 = 700g

Total: 6600g!

Personally i don't see any item being worth that much...then again i haven't seen the stats and most people won't be purchasing the items due to the overwhelming cost

how did this item even get on here? ive noticed a few unknownitems, clearly someone hasnt got them so how does "the website" know about them? ta
