This faction is located in a village in western Zangarmarsh, with an additional small cave in the southeast of the zone. They initially begin at Unfriendly, and you must increase your reputation via two repeatable quests from the Cenarion Outpost nearby. At Friendly, several quests from the Sporeggar themselves open up, including several for the nearby Coilfang Reservoir instances.

Lots of drops and gathered items in the zone go towards Sporeggar rep. Make sure to keep everything if you are going for their rep. A few of them are Glowcap, used to buy their rewards, fertile spores, strange spores, mature spore sacs, boglord tendrils, and sanguine Hibiscus from Coilfang Reservoir.

They also have repeatable rep quests to kill so many naga over and over.

A town found along the western edge of Zangarmarsh, populated by the Sporelings. The Sporelings are a mostly peaceful race of mushroom-men native to Outland. Players start out Unfriendly with Sporeggar, but can gain reputation quickly.

The base way, when leveling, is to kill Bog Giants of one variety or another, a mob that bears the ubercool feature of being able to herb its corpse as skinners skin beasts. That nets you 10 Rep apiece. There is also rep from mobs within the Slave Pens in the Coilfang Reservoir.

Unfriendly to Neutral

Collect Bog Lord Tendrils, which drop off the bog lords to be given to an NPC east of the spawning glen in southwestern Zangarmarsh for reputation.

Neutral to Friendly
---------------------------------
Collect Glowcap or Fertile Spores for reptuation. Glowcap can be found on the ground, while Fertile Spores drop off of a good number of mobs in the marsh, typically fen striders or spore bats. However, and this is important, Glowcap is used to Purchase items from the faction's rep-based vendor. So save those for that instead.

Friendly to Honored
--------------------------------------
There is a quest to kill Naga from one of the Sporelings. These naga also give Cenarion Expedition rep, and there is even a Cenarion Refuge for their claws.

Honored to Revered
--------------------------------------------
There is nothing but bog lord kill for reputation. However, the bog lords will stop giving rep at 11999/12000, so save a quest to push yourself over the edge to revered.

Revered to Exalted
-------------------------------------
There is currently no means of getting Sporereggar rep from revered to exalted.

Escort Quest: A special escort quest opens up with the Bog Lord Fhwoor, located in Sporeggar. The quest is hard, and you should at least have a healer to heal Fhwoor, who can tank quite adequately most anything that comes his way. At the end of the quest you are forced to an elite and two adds, so be prepared for that.

I was afraid it would be the killing naga quest that you'd have to do to get exhaulted... I'm not sure which I prefer... Though I guess once I'm 64 or 65 even the naga won't be that annoying. :p

And to add some usefullness to this post:

To those that have yet to venture into Zangamarsh, glowcaps are quite popular in the western areas of the marsh and there is no reason for anyone to buy them via the AH, especially at these early in release costs of a gold a piece or more. Save that gold for your epic flying mount. ;)

Fertile spores are a little harder to come by, but with a little patience they come off of Fen Striders and the Spore bats (not younger or greater) the most. And no matter which type of spore bat you kill, you get a nice 5 minute buff that increases all stats by 30. :)

I am currently undergoing this reputation grind on my rogue. A lot of people consider it to be a waste of time because the items you work for are not that superior, however I am looking forward to hitting exalted with these guys and grabbing that potion recipe! If that potion works like a fade or feint ability than I can see it being highly useful further on in the game for healers and DPS classes that can't take too many hits.

It will take some patience and mindless grinding on my part but, the end result I am sure will net me a lot of gold and make my rogue an asset to the guild I am in. And besides, Zangramarsh is absolutely beautiful, and who wouldn't want to help those cute little spores? :)

Oh and for a fledgling character new to the spores, completing the quests given out by the spore guy wandering around the entrance to the spawning glen will net you about 10370 experience the first time you complete them. Having a friend toss you their bog lord tendrils and spore sacs that they acquire after gaining friendly rep (at which the turn in stops) provides an easy 20k exp!

I just hit exhalted, 999/1000 and here are my thoughts.
Unless you are an alchemist or are very bored and need something to grind, this is not the rep for you.
The nagas drop junk 99% of the time, and the only decent thing i picked up was 5xs

That is all, correct me if i am wrong.
The latter quest requires you to run colifang reserve, underbog which is very unproductive unless you have a full group of 70's.

I did not aquire the Alchemy potion as i am not an alchemist so i cannot comment on that.

There is one quest which you may only aquire at exhalted, which involves Fhwoor and some crappy blue quest rewards. http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17877#z0z

The special escort quest opens up with the Bog Lord Fhwoor, located in Sporeggar. The rewards as of last seen were subpar, but it’s fun to escort the oaf. The quest itself is hard, you should at least have a healer to heal fhwoor, who can tank quite adequately most anything that comes his way. The end of the quest forces you to fight a 66 elite and two non elite adds, so be prepared for that.

I'll try make this as simple as possilbe:

Unfriendly to Neutral:

Grind the Bog Lords Or Marsh lurkers in the cave to the very south east of the map.

Glow cap is found ALL over the place. You don't need more then max 70 to get from neutral to friendly, since 10 gives you 750 rep.

Underbog give you some kind a "herb" called Sanguine H(something. This can be turned in all the way to exalted. Bog lords and farming cave also goes to exalted.

Same as above again.

There is also a good deal of quests coming as your rep raise. These gives nice amount of rep.

All the way from unfriendly to friendly, grind the bog lords and pick up spore sacs in the spawning glen. Six tendrils or ten spore sacs will each get you 750 rep, repeatable until friendly. You can also turn in glowcaps from neutral to friendly, but it's better to save them as currency. These quests are no longer available at friendly.

At friendly, turn in fertile spores from sporebats and marsh walkers (you need 10 fertile spores with a 30% drop rate), kill nearby naga, or turn in "shrubberies" from Underbog (5 at a 25% drop rate), again for 750 reputation points, repeatable. Forming a group and killing naga is probably the fastest way, as there's no need to share drops.

Currently, Primal Water is worth 22G more than Primal Earth, so the transmute is quite valuable.

Not shown above, but this faction also sells the recipes for Sporeling Snack (+20 SPI/STA for your pet) and Clam Bar (+20 SPI/STA for you) at neutral. These recipes do not soulbind.

I wrote my own cause I didn’t like anyone else’s.

In the Cenarion Expedition point in Zangarmarsh you will get the quest Saving the sporeloks http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10096, I suggest doing this with A Damp Dark Place( http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9788 ) and Safeguarding the Watchers ( http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9894 ). Doing these three quests will inadvertently raise your rep with spores. The mobs killed will yeild 15 rep each and I believe Klarq gives 20 (I’m not 100% sure) Then you will be asked to find Watcher Lessa’oh http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9697 . In the process of completing her chain you will have to kill bog lords and giants, both the regular and the starving ones in order to get to what she wants you to find. Again these guys yield 15 rep all the way up to revered. At revered it gets harder, but I’ll come back.

You will pass by this little guy http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17923 Fahssn, he asks you to save the babies and to bring him bog lord tendrils. To save the babies you must run around and collect 10 mature spore sacs, which are the little bubbles you will find coming out of the ground. Kill ANY plant creatures, (not just the bog lords) for the tendrils. After which he sends you to Sporeggar to this guy http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=17924 Msshi’fn. He asks you to complete the Glowcaps in which you will have to bring him 10 glowcaps. Complete his quest and then you will need either glowcaps, bog lord tendrils, or mature spore sacs to turn in until you reach friendly. After all was said and done I think I only had to do one or two turn ins to hit friendly status.

After friendly you will open up the rest of the spore quests. http://www.wowhead.com/?faction=970#M0zc Bring Me a shrubbery, Fertile Spores, and Now that we are still friends, are repeatable until exalted. The other quests will yield a very nice food/drink maker http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28111 , and a very nice trinket http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9719 .

Bring Me a shrubbery, Fertile Spores, and Now that we are still friends yield 750 rep a turn in. Bring me a shrubbery requires the least amount, but requires a trip through Underbog to collect 5 Sanguine Hibiscus. You can loot these from the ground or off of the creatures there. In one trip with a group that let me have all of the hibi’s I collected 35 throughout the entire run. If your group is a little slow, you can then stay in group with one person and run back through the entire instance and get the repops unhindered. If they REALLY love you, you can do these all day, the shrubs have about a 15-20 minute repop timer. My Rogue friends have reported they can stealth and get about 5-10 a try up until the nagas who can see stealth.

With Fertile Spores, you need 10 a turn in and they drop from marsh walkers, Fen Strider, Sporebats and Greater Sporebats. With Now that we’re still friends, you need to kill 12 each of nearby Enchantress, and slavedrivers. To me, this was the hardest and most greuling, but one I could solo and be garunteed the rep. Plus I got some nice drops I shared with my guildies who donated me hibi’s and spores.

At exalted you can unlock a really hard escort quest but by time I hit exalted I was too tired to try it :)

Save all the glowcaps you find because the spores use them as currency instead of actual Money. My Shrouding potion was worth the grind and the 30 caps just to say I did it XD

If you are a Rogue and a Herbalist, getting rep with Sporeggar is very easy.

There are several spawns of Sanguine Hibiscus inside Underbog which are unguarded or the mobs aren't close enough. At 70 it gets even easier as the mobs in the start are 62-63, meaning they have a very small aggro range.

Basically, all you have to do is enter Underbog and take every Sanguine Hibiscus that you see. There are usually 4-5 which you can get without going into a fight, depending on how many spawn. The first two mobs (Underbats) are easily killable separetely, atleast for a Sword Rogue, and they can sometimes drop Sanguine Hibiscus. Sweep the area until a little after the first boss, the place where the Nagas first appear, that is the point where you stop and reset the instance, as you cannot go further due to the guards having Stealth detection.

Also note there are sometimes up to two chests spawned and also some herbs which you can easily get without aggroing anyone.
I have also notices that sometimes only a few Sanguine Hibiscuses spawn, but after a few minutes more start spawning. However, they all have fixed locations so it's easy to 'hunt' them down.

Having 5/5 Camouflage helps alot, but Shadowmeld can help too. I presume Druids can also do this, but they might die a bit more in case they get into a fight, as they cannot Vanish. :) That's why I recommend unequipping everything to save repair costs just in case of mistakes. ;)

I'd say that if your a druid or rogue with herbalism grinding Sanguine Hibiscus in Underbog is the easiest way to get Sporagger rep.

There's only 2 stealth detection mobs in the instances (apart from the fishies) and as a 70 druid I was able to solo them without breaking a sweat. I doubt a rogue would have any problems either.

Picking up some of the spawns near the entrance can be a little problematic, but fortunately the mobs wont follow you into the water so should you pull aggro you can just take a quick dip till u get ooc.

I'm getting 15-20 per run atm which takes 20-30mins.

I've created a file for anyone that wants a printable or offline list of the work that is needed to raise a paticular faction (Outland only).

This is basically a compilation of information off of Wowhead and the comments of posters. The faction lists generally start off in the order of the reputation you need to even make any gains (Unfriendly, Neutral, Friendly, Honored, Revered, Exalted), and above the quests will be kill or gathering entries that are most often independent of your current standing. While the quests are generally in order, it may have a typo, mistake, or incorrect x, y locations, etc. It is entirely based on reputation gains and is not a leveling/quest grinding guide (for that, see http://www.nut-shack.com/WoW/quests.xls). Right now, unfortunately, it is Alliance only based (I've got no level 60 Horde characters).

I have completed it for Sporregar thus far. I'd appreciate any bumps in ratings, and also any questions, corrections, or feedback can be directed to adimax@gmail.com.

Last but not least, you can use GoogleDocs to read the XLS file, if you dont have Microsoft Office. Or, just use Google to find a 'free XLS reader'.

Farming Sanguine Hibiscus in Underbog (@ level 70)

There are 20 hibiscus nodes in Underbog. The locations of these nodes never change. A maximum of 10 nodes can be populated at one time. As you harvest a node, a previously unpopulated one will spawn. The order in which nodes populate is random, and each one will spawn only once per instance.

Of these 20 nodes, only 3 of them are impossible to harvest in a solo stealth run. The first is located at the base of the spiral ramp leading to Hungerfen, the second is in the hallway behind Ghaz'an's pool, guarded by fen rays and wasps. The third is located next to Claw, the posessed druid. In addition, there is a node located in the hallway just before the final boss chamber guarded by two Bog Lords. It is possible to harvest this one, but rather tricky. Be ready to sprint or dash into the water below should you choose to harvest this one. And if you're not level 70, just leave this one alone. In fact - do yourself a favor and don't do this stealth run unless you're level 70.

The short version is this: 17 hibiscus are possible from each run harvesting nodes. A typical "good" run would be 14-15 since the random spawning order can sometimes require you to stealth-walk your way back through the instance a second time to harvest all 17 nodes - and that is both boring and an inefficient use of time. Also, even though the first node in the instance doesn't require that you kill the two spore bats guarding it, I suggest you do so since the bats have a decent chance of dropping hibiscus as well.

EDIT: Now that the level cap is 80 this stealth run is completely trivial, although the node at the base of Hungerfen's ramp is still tricky to pull off if you don't want to fight anything.

Would it be possible to reach exalted without doing any quests? That way a level 19 or whatever could have the kick ass tabard... Surely it would be quite mind numbing to have a friend just run around while you follow as a ghost, though.

the "Marsh Lurkers"(http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=18136) in the cave(74,91) behind umbrafen lake give rep all the way to exalted

however, the level 61 marsh lurkers only give 3 rep for a level 70,
but will still give the full rep if your level 61-69.

I also wanted to find a way to gain reputation with a lower level alt, simply to get the transmute. The way I thought of doing it was...pay a 70 to help with the first 2-3 quests to get to the point of handing in Sanguine Hybiscus. Then farm the herb with a higher alt or buy them on AH. That Sporeggar transmute is worth 15g a day which gives a lot of incentive to try.

On a side note, I followed the advice above and farmed 300 Sanguine as a stealthed 70 rogue with herbalism. I didn't fight anything and I'm slow, taking nine or ten hours in total. I wanted to show the list of items that was farmed at the same time as the Sanguine Hybiscus...even though this is a grind, it's not a bad money maker.

(approximately 9 hours of stealthed underbog runs with herbalism)

For those who can't stealth run UB:
You can gain rep all the way to exalted by completing any of the following quests for 750 rep each turn in:
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9727 (each kill works out to be 31.25rep)
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9807 (~30% drop rate from Spore Bats and Marsh Stalkers)
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9714 (can be gathered or found from drops in Normal and Heroic UB)

Rep can also be gained from killing Bog Lords but this is by far a slower process. If you need Primal Life, however, this may be a viable option although I would not recommend it.

A good point to remember is pick Glow Cap as you go so that you don't have to farm it later for the items you wish to purchase.

btw...for those that can endure the grinding, if you grind all the way to 11999/12000 on Fungal Giants and Bog Lords, just pick up the quests as they become available along the way but don't turn them in until you cap out on rep from kills. Once you go turn everything in then, you'll be 5849/21000, and cut out a large chunk of "Now That We're Still Friends" quest, while stocking up on Primal Life, Unidentified Plant Parts (which sell nicely btw if you don't need them), and tons of free herbs if you're an Herbalist and can skin the corpses.

Sure as hell is more profitable than some Golden Pearls and a crapload of Jaggal Clam meat.

Seeing the information on wowwiki about the repeatable quest "Now that we're friends..." I got together a few people to do the rep grind together. With a few dps killing separate mobs it made the quests fly by.

Pick and area like the eastern shore of the big lake above Sporeggar with a bunch of mobs near each other.

I grinded out revered and half of exalted in only a few hours. Finishing up the rest tomorrow.

Definitely recommend doing this to any 70's with a few hippie friends that'd like that shroom tabard. =D

Would it be possible for a mage to use invisibility enough to get the hibiscus in Underbog?
Also, to my knowledge all classes can use the Invis potions, would they be a valid way to get the hibiscus in it?

With 2.4.3 (upcoming patch as of today 19th june 08) there will be a tailoring pattern from sporeggar aswell.

Its called Mycah's botanical bag, and will most likely be a blue/rare 28 slot herb bag, comparable to spellfire bag (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=21858 ) for example.

At this time this isnt certain to come ingame yet, but the spell to create the item has been discovered and can be found on wowdb. (http://www.wowdb.com/spell.aspx?id=50194 )

A fun faction, and easy to grind with, I like factions like this or Kurenai because you can't really screw them up.

Unfortunately, the Sporeggar rewards are very specialized, and probably most attractive to alchemists or herbalists. The new herb bag should be excellent, and transmute primal earth to water is one of the most cost-effective and easiest transmutes you can make on most servers.

Also with the new mini-pet, for those of us who are mini-pet collectors, it provides another reason to grind Sporeggar rep.

My personal recommendation for druids or rogues is sanguine hibiscus runs, other classes may want to just grind naga for "Now that we are still friends" quest.

Exalted with Sporeggar will be one of the required factions if you are going to complete The Diplomat achievement (Ally version), along with Timbermaw Hold and Mag'har / Kurenai.
This achievement will reward you with 'The Diplomat' title, as it says:

NAME the Diplomat - exalted with Timbermaw Hold, Sporeggar and Mag'har / Kurenai

Not true u can get past the guards u just have to sprint up to them in stealth. When u get knocked out of stealth u sprint a bit further and vanish. Too easy. Thats how u get 12-15 sanguin hibiscus a run.

Unbelievable easy as a 70 Frost Mage in T6 (probably all Mage specs). I'm doing 18-20 Hibiscus per non-stealth run just killing everything up to the first boss (except the big guys... though killing them isn't too hard either).

This has the benefit of quite a few Hibiscus spawns + all the Hibiscus from dead mobs. It's great, and it takes maybe 20min to clear it all.

An absurdly easy faction to grind rep for.

I'm not an herbalist, and the Hibiscus' are way too expensive on my AH, so I had to go with the kill quest grind. I went from 5000/12000 to 5000/21000 in just over an hour of killing mobs. Will finish this up tonight.

I just keep doing repeatable kill quest, with my shadow priest I dot everything up and they just fall over after chase me for a while. Average time per quest turn in is about 5 mins, by the time you turn in the quest and fly back all the naga has respawned.

I farmed my rep from revered to exalted in about 2 hours.

I went from ~6000/12000 honored to exalted in about 4 hours, here's how:

First, and forgive me if this sounds obvious, visit the auction house and check for fertile spores and sanguine hibiscus. I found a stack of 70 fertile spores for 50 gold, that was a great start.

Second, head to Sporeggar in Zangermarsh. Pick up the And Now That We're Still Friends... quest.

Next, head to 25, 43 in Zangermarsh. Kill the 18 mobs for the Friends... quest.

Then, head North to 30, 20 in Zangermarsh. Walk West as far as you can, then turn South. Kill every greater sporebat you see, until you have at least 12 fertile spores.

Finally, head back to Sporeggar and turn in Friends... and your fertile spores. The entire cycle took me about 15 minutes, and I got 2275 rep each turn. By the time you're done killing the sporebats, the naga have respawned. Rinse and repeat.

Save the glowcaps you get from the fertile spore turn-ins, you'll need 40 in total to get the pet and the tabard.

It takes about 5-7min for me to complete the Now That We're Still Friends... as priest with my Holynova aoe skill.. Gaining 750rep per run. As long as no ones there farming either, it goes pretty fast.

This is very easy rep to grind as level 80 without having to kill a single thing:

1. Go into Underbog normal.
2. Pick all the Sanguine Hibiscus at the start of the entrance, avoiding the trash mobs, which will only aggro at very close proximity. There are usually 4 or so hibiscus close to the entrance, another 3 around and behind the first ramp, and one up the ramp. At 80, you can walk past Hungerfen and his guards without pulling aggro. Continue over the walkway and pick 2-3 more until you reach the naga's.
3. At this point, I levitated down the ramp towards the entrance (but jump will probably work as well), picked up any hibiscus that respawned, and walked out.
4. Reset, and go back.

This gave me 10-12 Sanguine Hibiscus per run, which took about 10 minutes at leisurely speed. That's a good 9-11k rep per hour, or more if you also kill the trash that has a chance to drop SHs.

Just got to exalted today on my warlock on Eonar (destruction build), after around a week's worth of questing and farming. I had school during the week (and I'm a good little school boy that doesn't skimp out on homework :D), so honestly, it wasn't very much of a grind.

Keep in mind that I was doing this from levels 62-69, and no I didn't level from 62-69 from all that. I did some questing in Zangar/Nagrand when my friend and brother were online, which accounts for all those levels. Also, note that this is from a casual player's experience, yours will vary and your opinion of my experience will change, based on whether you're a casual or hard-core gamer.

I get bored easily, so I didn't just stick to one method of gaining rep: one day I'd hunt the greater sporebats on the west side of Zangar for fertile spores, other days I'd grind on bog lords/dredgers. For the majority of the time, though, I did the "Now that we're still friends..." quest, except anytime I'd see a fen walker or greater spore bat, (that was conveniently in my path) I'd go and kill it for the fertile spores/buff. I suggest anyone doing this repeatable quest over and over do the same--why would you miss out on the chance to further boost your rep? Um, I also checked the auction house frequently for both sanguine hibiscuses and fertile spores.

If you're a rogue, then you're in luck: just collect sanguine hibiscuses in the Under Bog. If not, and you're bored of all the mentioned reputation gaining methods, just try and organize a group to do the Under Bog with you. That's how I got my last 5 or 6k rep with Sporeggar, I netted around 5-8 per run.

I guess my point is, don't give up and let the boredom get to you? If you're getty drowsy from doing one certain quest, take a break and maybe do a different one? Sporeggar has been by far the easiest reputation I've farmed (the other being Timbermaw Hold). Good luck to those that want to get exalted with Sporeggar also~

Now with level 80, and the changes to reputation gains, you can easily do this grind. Collect Sanguine Hibiscus in the Underbog, you won't aggro the mobs very fast. You can also kill Bog Lords, which might be a bit faster then collecting Sanguine Hibiscus's. The random green/blue, Mote of life's and thrash are a nice addition.

As a human when you hit friendly i do the naga quest in ~ 3:30 sec and i get 825 rep a.k.a if you do the math /825= 47,2x3,5 = 165,2/60 = 2,7 hours , so you get around 2 hours 40 mins to get from friendly to exalted by only doing the naga kill quest . For non humans you add 2,7+ 10% = 2,9 , so that means around 3 hours .Ofc the numbers can be bigger or smaller all depends on your speed .

If you're familiar with the Winterspring grind you may as well do that here too. With the "Now that we're friends..." quest.
Having a fast flyer helps a lot to speed it up.
As a level 80 arms (dualspec) it took about 1 or 2 hits to kill a mob so I just went from mob to mob without looting.
When I got bored of it I also took the Fertile Spores from the flying dudes in the north west of the map. Just remember that the drop may be awfull (sometimes about 1 out of 6 mobs)
I also did a fast Underbog run grabbing some hibiscus (the last boss seems to drop one as well).

Doing the naga quest was still the easiest way for me though.
If you do this for Achievements, make sure you also have 40 mushrooms on you for the tabard (10) and the minipet (30).

And now you're at it, you may as well do the last quest for the Sporeggar guys that's only available when exalted. A small escort quest, yea!

On my server, Arathor it was rather hard to get any stuff from the AH; Fertile Spores and the Hibiscus aren't soulbound. Unfortunatly there weren't many on the AH.
Back in the TBC time there were a lot of Hibiscus, that's how my druid got exalted pretty fast.

This is my recommendation based on my grind today that took me from the beginning of friendly to exalted.

I used my 80 hunter to grind the 'Now that we are friends' quest, killing Naga. Also killed sporebats and spore walkers for fertile spores whenever I saw them.

I did solo Underbog with my Death Knight (Herbalist) 3 times (average 31 hibiscus per run).

My conclusion was that it was way faster to grind the Naga.

1. Underbog hibiscus run - 40 minutes - 3750 reputation per run

2. Naga (Now that we are friends) - 5 minutes per run - 6000 reputation in 40 minutes

3. Fertile Spores - avoid it. You have to spend time looking for the bats and walkers and they only drop at the average rate of 1 every 6-7 kills (for me anyhow).

Just doing it for the companion pet and tabard.

Note that when you're a Druid of level 60 or higher, the quickest possible way to get to Friendly status with the Sporeggar faction is by repeatedly doing the The Sporelings' Plight quest. You can just fly over the Spawning Glen, spot a Mature Spore Sac, hover over it and collect it without breaking your form and without any giants attacking you. They simply won't and even if they do, picking up a Sac is done so quickly that you'll be gone again before they can hurt you.

Picking up and turning in 10 Sacs shouldn't take you more than 3-4 minutes per run. Rinse and repeat and you'll be Friendly with Sporeggar before you know it. Sure beats killing Bog Lords for their Tendrils, which only drop every now and again.

I went from the begining of honored to exalted in right about 3 hours today,
The "tactic" i used was the following:

Fly to: 15.34 then move straight up to 16.16
then turn right and move to 27.19
after you have killed every Greater Spore Bat in that path
just move back in a strait line to the starting position of 15.34
and start the path over again, if you aint crazy fast all mobs have respawned.

Honored - Revered = 96 Fertile Spore
Revered - Exalted = 168 Fertile Spore

A total of 264 Fertile Spore

= ~ 3 hours as a "Living Bomb" mage at level 80^^

After 3 hours, 6 resets I managed to gather ~150 Sanguine Hibiscuses on my destro lock.
Then I realized that I actually have a feral druid alt (level 80, full iLevel 245 gear) which I can use to farm the Sanguine Hibiscuses since they're boe. It only took 1 more hour to gather the rest of 100 that I needed.
So, basicly, around 100/h if you play a class that can solo things easily :).

There is a 3rd repeatable quest for them that is mentioned in the description above, but not fully described.

"Bring Me Another Shrubbery!" - Bring 5 Sanguine Hibiscus to Gzhun'tt at Sporeggar.
(pick ups can be found in the Underbog)

Each turn in yields 750 rep with them from Honored to Revered.

Not sure on the other levels of rep.

I am a lvl 80 Hunter and can solo this no problem. Bulk of the pick ups are on the ground floor area before the first boss. Look for a red glow around the ones on the ground, I believe herbalism will help you find them. The rest are drops from the mobs in the area.

Last farming run I did, I gathered 21 flowers, so 4 x 750 = 3000 rep for one run of the instance.

Going for the diplomat title, it seems the better method comes down to farming underbog for Sanguine Hibiscus. I want the title for my shaman, but my lv80 hunter is a herbalist. He's able to sometimes find a Hibiscus on one of the mobs in underbog, so the 20 from underbog, with herbalism to find them, plus the extras you can get up to 25-30 sometimes a run.

Each stack of 5 Hibiscus is 750 rep, so each run of underbog can get you 3000 - 4500 rep.
Luckily the Hibiscus isn't soulbound either.

It gives you 750 rep per turn in and is very easy to do, will take you 3 min to finish it.

I found it funny that they use Shrooms as currency, I guess Spore-things need to get high every once in a while XD.

But honestly, this has to be one of the easiest, if not THE easiest rep grind in BC. It's like 260 hibiscus from friendly to exalted, getting 30-40 a run makes that seem like a minuscule amount.

Short version: You can get 260 hibiscus in under 2 hours.

Longer Version: Lets say for the sake of math you get 30 hibiscus per UB run, if you run 5 of them an hour (instance cap), thats 150. 150 x 2 = 300, that's how many you can get in 2 hours, and that's just the minimum. You only need 260 hibiscus, so it would take about 1.7 hours, or about 1 hour, and 42 minutes. For a level 80 character, this is almost jokingly easy.

This is ridiculously easy to get exalted with as an 80 pally. Took me about 3-4 hours to get from unfriendly to exalted. Although it helped I ran a couple friend's alts through underbog the night before. Edit: Would have been faster if I was an herb-ologist though :/

I just finished this grind on my 65 lock. Here's how:
Did all of the Sporeggar quests. Then picked up this quest , and queued in the dungeon finder for The Underbog. I would head over and kill all of the naga for the quest. Every time that was complete, I would head back and turn it in. Occasionally I would get into a group for The Underbog. Once we were inside, I would just politely ask my group members to let me have all of the strange hibiscus. Each run would get me about 15 hibiscus, plus a few greens which I could Disenchant. The rep grind was relatively quick, and a few other quests also asked me to kill naga, so it made the grind worth it xp wise as well.
I now run around with my snazzy mushroom tabbard and a mini sporebat following me around. I am as happy as a gnome can be.

I would like to add that it's not too difficult to do it on heroic, and heroic also gives rep for Cenarion Expedition. Mobs drop Sanguines as well, giving me ~30 sanguines per thrash clear up until the naga. The thrash on heroic respawn after a certain time, so I just farmed normals in between the respawns of heroic mode to grind me two reps in one go. There may be more effective ways to grind Cenarion rep, I don't know, but I personally like the feeling of swatting two flies in one go.

Edit: I also don't know if this is a result of the recent forced instance resets Blizzard did, but the flowers and mobs were respawning very fast. As an 80, by the time I'd done clearing mobs on normal up until the naga part, the start of the instance including flowers would have respawned.

Difficulty is similar to Timbermaw Hold, but less mind-numbing.
It took ~2 hours for me to get from friendly to exalted by farming Underbog. I recommend killing all trash. It has few benefits:
1)they drop A LOT of Sanguine Hibicus.
2)They also drop worthy vendor trash
3)Killing them takes so much time you won't get locked out.
As 80 SV hunter, I was able to pull few dozen of mobs and AoE them down. I killed everything until the first naga appeared, and repeated.
Also note that Sanguine Hibicus nodes respawn. By the time I killed the last bog lord, 3-4 flowers had spawned in the first room.
Overall stats:
Gold gained from vendors: 112g 35s 12c
Gold gained from loot: 9g 55s 12c
Repair bill: 3g 12s 00c (Pet classes have it easy)
Gold gained from selling primals: 200g 00s 00c
Total Sanguine Hibicus found: 254
Awesome tabards obtained: 1

I recommend downloading RepeatableQuestHelper. it's a bit outdated, but turning in 250 flowers 5 at a time takes nearly as long as obtaining them.

As a melee class (tested on a rogue), I have to advise that "Now that we're still friends..." is the fastest way to gain rep. Using the in-game timer, this quest can be completed in between 1:30 and 2:30. Fertile spores, depending on drop rates, can take on average twice as long. Doing only the naga kill quest is netting me 750 reputation every 2 minutes.

As I was grinding this out last night, I realized that these dudes are just a bunch of funny looking little stoners. Think about it. They're obviously irresponsible, because they lose their babies and let them get eaten. They're looking for Fertile Spores to grow mushrooms, they even admit to that one. They don't like authority, aka the cops, aka the naga near them. Then, they just love these flowers that have no ostensible purpose (you KNOW they're dropping them in a bowl the second your ass is back out farming).

Well lets put that all into context. A faction you get exalted with by A)helping them plant shrooms, B)killing the dudes in charge, and C)getting them their weed...er, flowers.

Oh, and for my last and probably most conclusive piece of proof, I present to you this fact. They are friends with a Bog Giant and keep him in their village. THESE ARE THE SAME BOG GIANTS THAT EAT THEIR BABIES. Know why? Because he's their dealer. No one else in that village can walk into Underbog and grab them some hibiscus when they're running low.

Yeah, you see it too now.

I'd tend to disagree with the now that we're still friends being the fastest method, but to each his own. I found that this rep was extremely quick just doing underbog runs, chainpulling trash to a location, and AoEing it down. I averaged about 25-30 Sanguine per run, and the run took about 10 minutes (with looting) as a feral druid. I stopped once I got to the nagas, jumped off the ledge, and swam back. Then just zoned out, reset, and zoned back in. I made a video incase anyone wants to know the exact method I used.

As a frost mage I can def say that you should do the quest "Killing 12 each of Bloodscale Enchantresses and Bloodscale Slavedrivers for Gzhun'tt to complete Now that we're friends..." described above.

I turned in the quest every 3 mins! 750rep / 3 mins! That is really fast rep.

I ran around with my water elemental out, Ice Lancing thoose I needed then returned, I went for the Slavedrivers first and just picked the Enchantress I happend to run past. Every 3rd run the slavedriver didn't spawn as fast as i killed them so I had to take a look underwater.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but handing in just 5 of the Sanguine Hibiscus awards you 750 rep each time and you can do this all the way to Exalted. To be honest, it's quicker and far more enjoyable just running through the Underbog several times until you have enough Sanguine Hibiscus. Killing the Naga, running back to Sporeggar and then running back to kill more Naga becomes tedious after a while. Not only is running the Underbog better, but you also get loads of weapons (green and blue) which you can sell to make some gold. Never a bad thing, Anyways, happy hunting!

This gave me 3216 rep with Cenarian expedition .

18 netherweave cloth

I done the grind from honored to exalted yesterday and I recommend doing Bring Me Another Shrubbery! by looting the mobs in the first level of Underbog, don't bother going up to Hungarfen, just kill everything in the ground level and collect the Hibiscus from them and also from the red flowers lying around, then exit the instance, reset it and go back in and repeat, do this until you reach the instances per hour cap (5 per hour) and then either have a break or go turn the Hibiscus in and do the Now That We're Still Friends... quest until you can go back in, with 10% guild increase to reputation you get 825 rep per turn in and this grind is done very quickly at 85. Enjoy!

Now That We're Still Friends... is now just a repeatable quest. Just kill and turn in and reaccept the quest. Currently cranking out 825 reputation per turn in. (My guild has the bonus to reputation so I'm sure other's will vary in reputation gains.)

Sanguine Hibiscus respawns in the instance. I'm not sure how many times exactly, but I have seen some of the nodes spawn twice in one instance run; down in the first area, before you climb the ramp. Also some nodes that aren't active when you first enter will spawn later on during the run.

I've started farming for Sanguine Hibiscus the other day, to get "the Diplomat" title.

And its true what "SwordDealer" writes. Its actually quite quick and easy to get loads of Sanguine Hibiscus, if you are Level 85. Just go to the Underbog HC and kill all mobs untill the first boss, cause they drop those with a pretty good droprate. Also remember to loot the Sanguine Hibiscus that are located inside the dungeon. When you hit the first boss, head out and reset the instance. Go back in, and start to kill again.

Such a run takes approx 10-12 minutes, and you will have about 100 Sanguine Hibiscus after 4-5 runs.

Easy to get rep:

Just get the mature spore sacs and tendrils until friendly,
Farm the naga until honored,
Kill the bog lords until revered,
Farm Underbog for 140 flowers(I got 35 each run from killing the mobs as well so be patient),
Turn in all of the flowers,
Enjoy your exaltedness :)

This way took me about only 4 hours at 85.

The way to do this at lvl 85 is to farm Underbog for Sanguines. In 5 resets (max per hour), you can gather an amount equal to 10k-15k rep, depending on your luck. There's no way you're gonna reach that number doing the daily in Zangarmarsh.

To those looking to grind this at 85 for the title, I would recommend running the Underbog. Sanguine hibiscus drops very regularly and does not require Herbalism to loot from nodes. There's also the added benefit of gold and boss drops - it's very easily done on heroic difficulty for reputation as well.

With the increased rep from Mr. Popularity, the repeatable quest " Bring Me A Shrubbery!" will give you 825 rep with Sporeggar for every turn in.

So, with that in mind, to get to exalted from honored it would be:

33000(Honored+Revered)/825 = 40 Turn in's.

40x5(per turn in) = 200 Sanguine Hibiscus needed to get to exalted.

In two full clears (the first time I didn't loot from most of the mobs, but that also includes me double checking the beginning of the instance for extra spawns), I got about 65 of the plants. So I imagine it would take about 6 or 7 full clears to achieve. Not too bad, in my opinion.

Speaking of the Diplomat, it is insanely easy to get now:

Timbermaw Hold: 2-3 Hours max even @ 70, You farm for feathers from an area just west of the southern flight point in Felwood. They have a decent drop rate and give 500 base rep per turn in (5). Even w/ the lower drop rate (25% I think) you gain less rep from kills over the course of the grind than w/ Kurenai because the drops are worth twice as much. (60 rep in kills per feather)

Min Rep (No Bonuses): ~1000 kills, 250 Feathers
Max Rep (Human, Guild, etc): ~7-800 kills, 200 feathers

Sporregar: Unfriendly - Friendy = Bog Lords/Spore Saces, maybe an hour max. Then go for Sanguine Hibiscus from Underbog, you can get ~175 in an hours time.

Min Rep: ~1-2 hours of random mob killing/questing, 220-260 SH
Max Rep: ~1-2 hours of random mob killing/questing, 185-220 SH

Kurenai: The worst of the grinds. Grind Ogres in Nagrand for Necklace drops. Decent drop rate (33%), but the mobs are spread out. This will probably take you double the combined time of the other two, if not longer. The turn in is 500 rep for 10, which is nice, but spread of the mobs in conjunction w/ the drop rate means that you're actually going to gain alot of rep from the kills alone. I'd guess for every point of rep you get for a necklace you get about the same amount of rep from the kills required to get that necklace (3 kills = 1 neck, both ~50 rep). Note: These drops are soulbound unlike Sporregar drops so you won't be able to buy them via the AH.

Min Rep: ~1350 kills, 450 necklaces
Max Rep: ~1100 kills, 370 necklaces

Note: These necks can also be used for Consortium rep (250 per 10) but Consortium is much easier done by farming The Heap for Zaxxis Insignia's and Ethereum Keys.
*All requirements are lessened in most circumstances because of rep received from quests, kills, lucky drop rates, etc. I also used a simplistic average of 15 rep per kill for all scenarios, if you want exact numbers you'll need to use the real values.

All values given are without any reputation modifiers from guild perks/human bonuses, based off of a level 85 in Normal Underbog.

-The Shrubbery Quest is still repeatable and is now located just inside the instance. It still rewards 750 Sporeggar Reputation per 5 Sanguine Hibiscus
-Stalk the Stalker gave 1050 Sporeggar Reputation upon completion. It's obtainable from T'shu at the entrance to Underbog just as the Shrubbery quests are.
-Every trash mob (including naga/broken) now rewards 21 Sporeggar Reputation. Exception: The Underbog Frenzy (fish) mobs do not give reputation rewards.
-Every boss now rewards 210 Sporeggar Reputation.
-Both trash and bosses continue to give reputation through Revered.
-Not including Sanguine Hibiscus quest turn ins (since turn in numbers vary from run to run), a full Normal Underbog clear netted me about 3290 Rep. This is equivalent to turning in just over 4 Shrubbery quests (20 items). While certainly not a deal breaker, it should help the grind along.

-The character who did this was already 999/999 Exalted with the Cenarion Expedition, so I can't comment as to whether reputation with them affects anything/nothing.

-I just went into Heroic Underbog and received NO reputation (at Revered) for any trash mob up to the first boss, who likewise gave NO Sporeggar rep. Rep gains therefore appear to be Normal Underbog only, though you can still get Sanguine Hibiscus from Heroic mode.

Just thought I'd say that you will get reputation to both sporeggar AND cenarion expedition for mob kills. I get 23-24 rep to sporeggar and 7-8 rep to cenarion per mob.

Another thing to note, although this applies to most tbc dungeons/heroics, if you are wearing a tabard of one of your home cities you will also receive reputation with them.

In a full clear of The underbog I got 3151 reputation with silvermoon.

I also received 3488 reputation with sporeggar

29 Sanguine Hibiscus's(which equates to 4785 reputation(825 rep per 5, 165 per 1, 165 x29)

So total rep for sporeggar for one normal underbog run was 8273, with a bonus of 3k rep with my city.

I did this on an elemental goblin shaman in a level 25 guild, without using guild banners, and it took 15 minutes at a casual pace.

I was also exalted with Cenarion epedition whilst doing this, so I was not receiving reputation for them.

In my opinion, the easiest way to get from Friendly to Exalted is to just keep doing Now That We're Still Friends... over an over (until you get really bored with it). The quest gives 750 rep plus any +rep modifiers you might have. But, the best thing about it is that it is extremely fast. On my 85 Paladin, I was able to complete it in under 3 minutes even stopping to pickup loot! I also found that the respawn rate was fast enough to keep doing this quest end-to-end, maintaining this 3 minute completion time.

The only somewhat tough part is quickly finding Bloodscale Slavedriver (that you haven't already killed). To do that, I put together a quick macro:

/cleartarget
/target Bloodscale Slavedriver
/script SetRaidTarget("target", 1)

Just hotkey this macro and spam it as you run/fly around the area and it will find them for you. The Bloodscale Enchantress are VERY easy to find and you will easily end up killing 6+ just finding the Slavedrivers so don't go far out of your way to find them. One final point is that you can usually find around 2 Bloodscale Slavedriver on one of the islands in Marshlight Lake and 4 or 5 underwater around the area.

Easy grind to exalted in 4.3.2

Runs of Underbog Normal (not heroic) give 23-24 Sporeggar rep per mob with Mr. Popularity guild Perk.
Bosses give 231 Sporeggar rep each with Mr. Popularity guild perk.

While doing this, collect all Sanguine Hibiscus from mobs between the entrance to the Naga's.
Naga don't drop the Hibiscus, so quickly run through here AoE'ing everything without looting.

After killing second boss and going through the hole, run through the halls AoE'ing everything without looting. None of these mobs drop the Hibiscus either (wasps and rays).

Kill remaining mobs/bosses, rinse, repeat.

Remember to loot the Hibiscus nodes too.

Hibiscus are handed in to T'shu inside the Underbog @ 825 per with Mr. Popularity

Note that running Heroic will only give Cenarion Expedition rep.

From friendly to revered, kill all the mobs in Zangarmarsh , from revered forward go to The Underbog in normal difficulty so u can reset when finished, kill the mobs that grant 22 to 24 rep with Sporeggar and grab the Sanguine Hibiscus for the quest, repeat this several times and you can get to exalted within a few hours.

the mobs in underbog on normal are only giving rep at the moment i have found they are not giving rep on heroic on normal i was getting 21 - 23 for mobs 210 for each boss farming stops rep at 29999 Revered 1 Sanguine Hisbisquis handin and your Exalted when you want the Glowcaps for the companion and Tabard start on foot at Sporregar make your way to the far end of the Hewn bog going through the Naga and Ogre Areas some will respawn on your walk back fly and we can miss them without herb tracking also some Glowcaps do grow just west of zabrajin i got back off 2 trips with enough for both toons Sporregar also sell items for Tailoring and Alchemy and use the Glowcaps as currency

I just hit exalted with Cenarian Exp. after farming underbog over and over.
After i hit exalted i wanted to get rep with Sporeggar, so I went to underbog (again) to farm those flowers.

As for this patch (perhaps even before) 4.3.3 you get rep when you kill mobs.
With guild bonus I get 22-23 rep. each mob. Makes the grind even easier :-) cheers.

I highly recommend that you loot most of the mobs, to the fact that most of them drop Sanguine Hiscuses. You can get around 15 of them at most from gathering the visible ones, but when I looted most of the mobs I more then doubled the amount of Sanguine Hiscuses for one run.

Just did 3 runs of Underbog normal for Sporeggar rep for The Diplomat, I'm a 396 item level equipped enhancement shaman.

First of all, every mob in Underbog (Normal mode only, Heroic mode only gives Cenarion Expedition rep) gives 7 Cenarion Expedition rep and 21 Sporeggar rep and each of the bosses give 70 Cenarion Expedition rep and 210 Sporeggar rep.

The turn-in quest becomes available at Friendly reputation with Sporeggar, however, if you're not Friendly yet, you can still earn rep by running Underbog and you can still gather Sanguine Hibiscus to use at a later time, regardless of your current rep level. These are the only mobs that have a chance to drop Sanguine Hibiscus, so loot all of them. :)

I ran Underbog normal 3 times and here are my results. Each run took about 12 minutes at a reasonable pace, looting every mob that can drop Sanguine Hibiscus.

Sanguine Hibiscus can be turned in to the Quest Giver at the entrance of the instance for 750 rep per 5.

Run 1 - From mobs only, I received 3,240 rep. I looted 29 Sanguine Hibiscus in this run. In total in this run I got 6990 Sporeggar rep.
(5 turn ins, 5x750 = 3750 from turn ins + 3,240 from mob/boss kills = 6990)

Run 2 - From mobs only, I received 3,192 rep. I looted 32 Sanguine Hibiscus, + the 4 spare from the previous run, in this run. In total in this run I got 8442 Sporeggar rep.
(7 turn ins, 7x750 = 5250 from turn ins + 3,192 from mob/boss kills = 8442)

Run 3 - From mobs only, I received 3,192 rep. I looted 27 Sanguine Hibiscus, + the 1 spare from the previous run, in this run. In total in this run I got 6942 Sporeggar rep.
(5 turn ins, 5x750 = 3750 from turn ins + 3,192 from mob/boss kills = 6942)

On average, that's 29 Sanguine Hibiscus, 5 turn-ins and 7458 rep every 12 minutes.

So by these numbers,

Friendly > Honored (6k rep) would take 1 runs.
Friendly > Revered (18k rep) would take 3 runs.
Friendly > Exalted (~40k rep) would take 6 runs, and at 1 run per 12 minutes you will never hit the hourly instance cap. :)

2 down, 1 to go. Diplo mat... Here I come.

I personally started to work on this reputation by killing the mobs that have a chance to drop Bog Lord Tendril. You get reputation from killing the Bog Lord and Giants in that area. The reason for gathering Bog Lord Tendril is they can be turned in for More Tendrils!. More Tendrils is also a repeatable quest for a period of time. Once I could pick up Now That We're Friends.. upon becoming Friendly with the Sporeggar I started working on that quest until I got honored.

You no longer have to be exalted with Sporeggar in order to talk to Fhwoor and pick up the quest Fhwoor Smash!. You can pick this quest up once you hit Honored with the Sporeggar. I also suggest you pick up Now That We're Friends... Fhwoor will take you into the mobs for Now That We're Friends.. therefore, you can complete both quests together. The quest Now that We're Friends is also a repeatable quest.

The quest Bring Me A Shrubbery!

This quest was marked obsolete by Blizzard and cannot be obtained or completed.

However there is a new version of Bring Me A Shrubbery! that you can pick up from T'Shu in The Underbog

very easy, the easiest way i found after reading the comments is to make sure you do the underbog on NORMAL mode, not on heroic, the heroic version does not give rep except on the hibiscus, the normal mode gives 21-23 rep per normal mob and 231-250 per boss plus the hibiscus and a reset.... makes it very easy that way with AOE

I ground rep with Cenarion Expedition and Sporeggar by running Steam Vault instances - mainly on heroic and mainly the Underbog, since you can gather Sanguine Hibiscus there + they drop off the mobs. Also if you have any Horde / Ally racial factions you need up, remember to wear the appropriate tabbard through these runs. If you run all the instances in the Steam Vaults on heroic, then the Underbog as many times as you can stand on normal for the Hibiscus (+ whatever rep is gained on normal), all while wearing a racial dungeon tabbard, you're going to be getting a lot done all at once and fairly quickly. Not to mention, if you are a Leather Worker or Herbalist you're going to get tons of extra mats from the mobs that can be gathered + all the loot that drops. I even got a few pretty rare recipes that sold on the AH for over 100G each. This is a highly profitable, very easy grind that gave me thousands of gold, achievements, 2 new tabbards, a cool (usually Ally specific model) mount, and lastly, a neat litlle pet. (also with an uncommon model) Hope this helps a tad. ;)

Venturing into The Underbog to gather 5 Sanguine Hibiscus for ~~Gzhun'tt~~ to complete Bring Me A Shrubbery! This is generally considered to be the easiest way to hit Exalted as ~15 can be picked from the first part of Underbog which can be reset. (Quote from Wowhead's script above)

As a human with Mr. popularity guild perk I got 25-26 rep per mob, 252 per boss, and about 25 sanguine hibiscus per run on regular in The Underbog. Note heroic mode does not give any Sporeggar rep.

Go straight to the AH and buy all the Sanguine Hibiscus that u can. If there isnt enough to get you all the way to exalted then farm underbog on NORMAL whilst collecting all the Sanguine Hibiscus as it still gives u rep, heroic doesnt.

Doing this as an 85 DK I found the most efficient way was to clear the first area of Underbog (Normal) and loot everything I killed (I didnt travel up the first ramp)

Each 'clear' of the area gave between 15 and 25 Sanguine Hibiscus and rep for the majority of the kills. Once Id finished the handins at the entrance it gave approx 3k rep for 5-10 minutes work, IMO far more efficient than grinding the naga quest.

Run out, reset and theres a helpful vendor just outside the entrance if your bags get too full.

It is very possible to solo grind this from scratch in one day, or even one sitting. It personally took me two sittings, because I'm easily distracted and lack motivation, but in hours, probably took me about five.

As a 395iL Feral Druid, I pretty much had my work cut out of me. From unfriendly to friendly, I grinded (ground?) the boglords because I couldn't find the glowcap turn in quest, and didn't bother to look it up. That took about an hour. Then from friendly to honored, I did the quests that were available in Sporeggar.

Once I got to honored, I went to Underbog. The guy at the front will give you a quest that requires you to pick up these herbs called Sanguine Hibiscus out of the dungeon. Each turn in of five gives you 825 rep (with guild perks). It took me, roughly, 8 full clears to get from honored to exalted. The druid cat form speed increase, coupled with Dash and Stampeding Roar, REALLY helped out a lot. If you kill everything in the dungeons, and loot every Sanguine Hibiscus you come across (my average was about 17 per run, with about 12-13 from spawns and the rest from drops off of sporebats, boglords, and bosses) you should be exalted in no time. The mobs in Underbog stop giving rep after about 3/4ths to exalted, so grind mobs as long as you can, and save the Hibiscus flowers for when you can't grind anymore. I was halfway to exalted, and 70 Sanguine Hibiscus got me there.

If you get locked out of the dungeon for doing it too many times, go do the quest that requires you to kill some nagas (you can do it over and over again) until your dungeon lock resets.

All in all, this is a fairly easy grind, the second easiest for the Diplomat achievement (first being Timbermaw, which took me all of an hour to get from unfriendly to exalted). It can seem sort of tedious, but in the end it pays off with that adorable little sporebat pet. :)

On my 380 Shadow Priest, this is amongst the easiest grinds.

From Honored to Revered, all I did was the repeatable quest from Gzhun'tt in Sporegar (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9727). This was easy because all I have to do was fly across the lake to kill whatever I needed, and fly back across to turn in the quest. Fast and easy and 750 rep per turn in.
I DID NOT even bother with doing the repeatable from Gshaff (Fertile Spores) because traveling far and all over to kill whatever to collect something at a drop rate was a waste of time.

From Revered to Exaulted, I ran Regular Underbog (not Herioc, no rep) only 3 1/2 TIMES! I got about 2.5k+ rep from just killing everything and collected about 30+ Sanguine Hibiscus for the repeatable at the beginning of the instance. This repeatable gave me 750 rep at only 5 Sanguine Hibiscuses. You can also check AH to see if anyone's is selling any as well to make it faster.

I pretty much dotted everything with Shadow Word: Pain and tried to gather several mobs at one time so I can Mind Sear them to save on mana.

Normal Underbog gives around ~20 reputation per mob to Sporeggar, all the way through exalted. It's a very good way to farm it since you can also collect the hibiscus, and when you finish, the NPC is right there to turn them in, then reset and start over. They dont give any reputation to Sporeggar on heroic difficulty though.

Heroic Underbog now seems to be the way to go. Running on a 408 Ele Shaman and completely clearing in about 12 minutes. Just make sure to loot the Sanguine Hibiscus to turn in on your way out of the instance to reset.

Getting right at 8k rep per run right, the rep is almost stupid easy with the changes to Heroic:Underbog.

Most mobs are giving 49-50 rep with Sporeggar and an additional 16-17 rep with Cenarion Refuge.

I would note that once you clean out this heroic Underbog (+45 for each mob toward rep) you may reenter it, sans bosses, and pick lots and lots of hibiscus AND all the trash mobs respawn so you can pretty much finish your bar doing this three times.

What I did to get exalted with sporeggar, and get my sweet pet and tabard for the tabard achievement:
I had done some quests for them as it is needed for the quest achievement as well. But then i got lazy and didn't wanna do that anymore, so i hit 90 just now, and figured... I'm revered with the mushroom people, why not go farm the rep, when it's not so much left!

So my friend tells me, the best thing ever! Go do underbog, so i do that, I figure a kill in there gave me 56 rep in heroic anyway. so i kill EVERYTHING. and loot them as well 'cause the mobs in underbog drop hibiscus as well. Oh, and i picked hibiscus as i saw it. Not hard to see as you'll be looking for red flowers lighting red up around it. And you don't have to be a herbalist to pick it, it works like a chest that isnt locked. ;-)

I did heroic once, and when i was done i had 30+ hibiscus. i turned them in for 900 rep each 5. and did the rest normal. Still killed everything in there as they would reward me with 25 rep a kill in normal. And of course the hibiscus as loot. So had about 30 when ending the normals as well. Turn in and get going again ! Got exalted in no time :-)

So if you're lazy like me this is a great idea to do it. Just pop some music and chat a little with your friends, and it's not so bad. And just think about that sweet little pet for your achievement in pet battles as well !

This reputation should be grind in heroic Underbog. As level 90 you will have absolutely no problem soloing it. Each kill rewards (with Mr. Popularity) ~50 rep with Sporeggar, 16-17 with Cenarion Expedition AND (if you are wearing their tabard) 16-17 with your specific pandaren faction (Huojin Pandaren/Tushui Pandaren).
I went in roughly half way through honored and cleared all trash up to the first boss, and picked up every Sanguine Hibiscus there was to be found. Each run gave me ~20 of the hibiscuses. Once all trash are dead, simply run back to the entrance, turn in your hibiscuses, run out and reset the instance. Rinse and repeat!
Sadly I did not notice how much rep each run rewarded me, but on my fifth reset I decided to clear the whole instance. Just before the second boss I hit exalted, without turning in the Sanguine Hibiscus I had found that run. This would indicate that each run rewards about (21 000 + 6 000)/5 = 5 400 rep from kills and hibiscuses.

To conclude my first wowhead comment, this faction is extremely easy and fast to grind in MoP! Go get your awesome tabard!

Doing Underbog on Heroic, mobs are giving 16-17 Cenarion Expedition rep and 49-50 Sporeggar rep with the guild perk! All bosses are bypassable at level 90 and I ended up with 30 sanguine hibiscus at the end of the run. Have fun getting Sporeggar rep really quick guys!

Edit: Bring Me a Shrubbery! is giving 825 rep with perk. Bosses also give 825 rep with guild perk. Took less than 2 runs revered to exalted. 56-57 rep with rep banner on trash, 949 on bosses.

Super easy to do now. Got from Neutral to Exalted in a little over an hour. Kill absolutely everything, loot every hibiscus, and with any luck you will have enough hibiscus by the time you hit Revered that your turn-ins will get you to Exalted.

In UB - as an herbalist - I was able to see every Sanguine Hibiscus location (they re-spawn very quickly in some cases; I highly recommend giving the whole instance a once over after you clear and before you leave for the day), and I also "skinned" many of the bog monsters (this also worked with mobs in SV), yielding a total of 9 Unidentified Plant Parts and 40 Sanguine Hibiscus!

It should also be noted that when you turn them in for rep with Sporeggar, the Sanguine Hibiscus now award 825 rep/5. With the guild perk on rep from killing mobs and bosses in UB, it would be very easy to go from neutral to almost max exalted in one UB run.

As of 5.4:

There's little update info on grinding this faction so I found out by scouting. Just grind in Underbog. You'll get about 25 Sanguine Hibiscus by looting alone. These turn into the NPC at entrance for 825 per stack of 5. boss kills are worth 231 and mob kills are 23. Heroic version of UB is much higher rep but you can only do once a day.

There's a daily in sporeggar for kill Naga (12 slavedriver and 6 enchantress) but it's not nearly as good as just grinding down UB. You can do sporeggar quests later if you reach the 5 dungeon per hour cap.

You'll gain roughly 4.5k per regular dungeon. Good rep, amiright?

It's worth mentioning (at lvl 90), that once you become friendly, and can farm Hibiscus in Underbog, you can get to exalted with 1 60 minute WHEE! buff during Darkmoon Faire (along with Guild Perk and Banner) It was around 5-6 runs for me, at about 30-35 hibiscus per run @900 rep per turn in. Simply exit Underbog, reset, and do it again.

In my experiences and experimentation I have found what I believe to be the fastest way to grind their rep. There is no doubt that running the Underbog is the easiest way to grind the rep so I experimented with it on two occasions. On the first I went through on normal difficulty and each mob granted a total of about 23 rep with sporeggar each. (With Guild Perk) On a second attempt I did it on Heroic difficulty and found that each gave around 50 rep. People would often say that the best way to do it was on normal because you could run it multiple times so what I would up doing which worked very well was killing all the mobs and collecting all the Sanguine Hibiscus. I ignored the bosses on heroic difficulty and using this method each run through yielded around 25 sanguine hibiscus which is 5 turn ins for around 825 rep (again with the guild perk) That is about 4000 rep from just that. I don't have the exact numbers but in one run just like this I went from around 13000 rep all the way to exalted. You do what you want but I found this to be most effective.

I would do 4 runs in a row of this and on the 5th kill the bosses as well. Took no time at all to get to exalted. Hope this helps.

I was getting about 6-8k rep per run in The Underbog whilst doing the repeatable quest: Bring Me A Shrubbery!
Killed the first two bosses and all the trash in-between. Then i ran out and resetted the instance. Each run took me around 8 min to do.

You can run Heroic Underbog and leave the druid bear boss up and come back to a completely full instance of mobs(trash) if you wait for a soft reset.

One fun fact that I stumbled upon in Underbog: As a Demonology Warlock, beat the first boss and go to the spot where the bridge to the building is on your left. If you go to the ledge behind you, there's a spot where you can Demonic Leap clear to the other side. This puts you right between the hunter boss and the final boss, but more importantly puts you in the fertile area for Sanguine Hibiscus around the final boss.

I'm not sure why people say this is a hard rep to grind. I grinded the mobs before the first boss while gathering Sanguine Hibiscus. I noticed every mob gave 49/50 rep (with the guild perk) into revered. When I joined a raid group (with no one else in the instance) the mobs gave 23 rep each.

For those of us who don't like farming, questing, etc.

Tonight, I went from 38% into Honored to Exalted in 30 mins. This should work for anyone of any reputation degree too, additional time required.

I ran the bottom floor of The Underbog, killing mobs for 45 rep each, looting the Sanguine Hibiscus from the mobs and off the ground. Each run I got at least 15 and at most 23. Turning in to T'shu for the "Bring Me Another Shrubbery!" repeatable quest.

Now, I am not very good at math, however, I got about 30% rep for turning in 15 flowers. I ran the dungeon's first floor and reset it about 6 times or so.

How did I make it fun? I changed up my path so I wouldn't get bored, popped a few toys, and used the Battle Horn from Timeless Isle to pull lots of trash and watch them meet their doom! I really, really, hate farming, questing, and anything else annoyingly repetitive, and I found this easy and fun.

This really is the easiest reputation farm in WoW that I know of.

By far, the best way to gain rep is to go to Heroic Underbog and harvest Sanguine Hibiscus for the repeatable quest "Bring Me a Shrubbery! / Bring Me Another Shrubbery!" (questgiver is just inside the instance). Clear everything up to (but not including) the first boss, looting all the mobs and picking hibiscuses (hibiscii?) as you go. Once you reach the first boss return to the instance, turn in all the hibiscuses, then leave the instance and reset it. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Each kill this way nets 45 rep with Sporeggar and 15 rep with Cenarion Expedition. Each quest turn-in yields 750 rep with Sporeggar.

The reason why I specify Heroic rather than Normal is because you can also grind Cenarion Expedition rep all the way to Exalted via Heroic Underbog; Normal Underbog doesn't give any rep for Cenarion Expedition after Revered, and you may as well kill two birds with one stone by grinding both reps at once. But if you ONLY care about Sporeggar rep, then Normal UB should work fine.

Neutral to Exalted in 40 minutes!

Tested in WoD patch 6.2.4.
Works from atleast Neutral all the way up to Exalted with Sporeggar,
i got 750 rep for each Bring Me Another Shrubbery! turn in on my lvl 100 horde druid.
Easiest way to do this is to farm The Underbog on Normal.

Farm tactic:
Enter The Underbog on Normal.
Pick up all the Sanguine Hibiscus and kill + loot all the mobs, up past Hungarfen until you see the first Wrathfin Myrmidon, this is where you run out of the instance and reset it.

Each run took around 4 mins, and i got:
First run: 20 x Sanguine Hibiscus
Second run: 29 x Sanguine Hibiscus
Third run: 29 x Sanguine Hibiscus

Rep from mob kills:
Sporeggar: ~1260 rep (21 rep from normal mobs and 210 rep from Hungarfen)
Cenarion Expedition: ~420 rep (7 rep from normal mobs and 70 rep from Hungarfen)

If you want to buy the Sanguine Hibiscus from AH you will need:
Neutral to Friendly: 4 quest hand ins = 20 x Sanguine Hibiscus
Friendly to Honored: 8 quest hand ins = 40 x Sanguine Hibiscus
Honored to Revered: 16 quest hand ins = 80 x Sanguine Hibiscus
Revered to Exalted: 28 quest hand ins = 140 x Sanguine Hibiscus

Summary
From Neutral to Exalted: 56 Bring Me Another Shrubbery! hand ins = 280 x Sanguine Hibiscus if you buy them from AH.
If you get around 23 Sanguine Hibiscus per run + 1260 rep from killing mobs, you need around 8-9 Underbog runs and around 40 mins of your time!

hi.
i want to simplify somthing.
underbog is the fastest way to grind rep.
1.kill every mob trash there is and loot them.killing them gives you rep and looting them gives you Sanguine Hibiscus.
but do not kill any boss. u can skip them all and use the back door behind the last boss to get back to the entrance.
exit reset and do it all over again.
2.just ramp up the Sanguine Hibiscus each 5 Sanguine Hibiscus gives u 750 rep when you hand it over to t'shu.

You can go exalted with Sporeggar just by farming the Underbog dungeon, from normal the mobs give 21 rep and the bosses 210 rep while from heroic the mobs give 15 rep and the bosses 750 rep. I'm not sure why normal mobs give more rep than heroic but you can gain exalted with them easily just from this dungeon.

With the Glowcap festival, healing Fshoo to 255 stacks provides 12,500 rep. Takes about 5-10mins per mushroom.

As of 7.2 personally I found it best to farm Underbog since every mob nets you 21 reputation, and bosses give you 210 reputation with Sporeggar and you can keep resetting the instance once you've done with it in normal. You also get 35+ Sanguine Hibiscus from mob kills and objects laid all over the dungeon which give 750 per 5 which you return in the beginning at T'shu. Shouldn't take more than 5-6 runs to get exalted, because honestly I wasn't counting, since I was there after Cenarion Expedition reputation.

I ran Underbog as a 110 in about 10 mins, going slowly and killing almost everything and looting them as well as herbing the Sanguine Hibiscus that are sprinkled around the instance. I wound up with 30 at the end! Almost all the trash drop the hibiscus, except for the space in between the second and third boss, after which they start dropping them again. The trash and bosses also give Sporeggar rep, about 23-24 each mob, with bosses in the 200's.

Just ran Underbog on Heroic and mobs gave 45 rep and bosses 750. Got about 12k rep in one run including hibiscus turn ins at the end.
