Raszageth has been pushed to her final phase, so the end of the Race to World First is near! As of the time of recording this Daily Recap Video, Echo have seen that phase once and Liquid have yet to make the push, but Dratnos and Tettles suspect that by the time Echo wake up that will no longer be the case and they may again wake up behind. This sets us up for an exciting and pivotal potential final day!
An important question is how tough the total DPS check of the fight is - like Sylvanas, Phase 1 damage is not relevant to the end of the fight, but once Phase 2 begins all damage on Raszageth counts because the remainder of the phase pushes are timer based rather than % health based (though technically, like Jailer, it is possible to push early if you get it low enough, we suspect). Right now, the damage check looks difficult but not insurmountable, leading us to project a killable boss before Christmas, though if the boss does end up taking another nerf it will be potentially hugely impactful to the race.
Tuning accross the raid has been interesting, with the first 7 bosses dying under 70 pulls for the top two guilds in the first reset with lower item level than heroic raid drops, but the final boss looking like a 300 pull monster.
