New Ashbringer Model for Alexandros Mograine in Shadowlands

Alexandros Mograine has received a new unique Ashbringer weapon model in the latest Shadowlands alpha update.
In past builds, Mograine used a few Artifact Weapon tints for Ashbringer
during the Maldraxxus story
, which is confusing and causes continuity errors for players that also acquired Ashbringer, drained of its power at the end of Legion. It's still a bit unclear how he can still wield a version of Ashbringer alongside players with artifact weapons, but maybe that will be a fun lore tidbit saved for the Maldaxxus covenant campaign.
We have seen many
legendary powers
inspired by past set bonuses and Legion legendaries, so perhaps this weapon has the essence of Ashbringer, but is not actually Ashbringer. We've learned in the Maldraxxus questline that the Primus has forged weapons before, and Alexandros Mograine does belong to that Shadowlands domain.
This new model looks more spectral, befitting the plague aesthetics of Maldraxxus and his new armor. We see him wield it across Maldraxxus and Oribos now, where we witnessed this neat exchange:
