Log off of that alt and into the real world - we're talking World of Warcraft Trading Card Game here! Our friends over at Cryptozoic Entertainment have just given us the heads up on a spotlight of their latest expansion
War of the Elements
, which hits the shelves on April 26, 2011, and will be available in French, Italian, German, and English all on the same day! My favorite part? New
loot
cards!
I'm sure many of you have purchased packs in the past and been disappointed to find that the super-rare items were indeed as super-rare as advertised. Well, unlike previous World of Warcraft TCG expansions, Cryptozoic's
War of the Elements
set contains a common quality loot item that is no longer a consumable (such as the
Galleta de mascota retro de papá Hummel
, though admittedly they were the best)! Instead, the common-quality loot item is now a
companion pet
! So even if trading card games aren't your thing (but they should be, really) you can still have a good chance at obtaining another companion for your collection!
The
War of the Elements
expansion includes loot cards rewarding three new in-game items -

,

and the
Raptor salvaje
!
