Best Guardian Druid Talent Tree Builds - Midnight Pre-Patch

As a Venthyr Guardian Druid that just switched from The Natural Order's Will(235 Helm) to Ursoc's Fury Remembered(262 Legs) I'm wondering if it's worth taking Earthwarden over Survival of the Fittest? And if I switch those I might as well swap from Brambles to Blood Frenzy as well, or would that be a decrease in DPS?
Also partially off-topic lol... is Innate Resolve a better conduit option than Tough as Bark now since the lego for it is outdated? Just trying to stay alive the best I can while maximizing DPS. Any tips are helpful.

There's something wrong with the import string on the RotS build. I decided to try that one out and both the Druid and the Guardian trees had a handful of misallocated points. (For example, Rip in the Druid tree and Flashing Claws in the Guardian tree were both selected)

Moonbear aka galactic guardian sure is fun, but I've found better survivability and dps results using a DoC build. I think your DoC build can be improved upon, too. 1) Going down resto branch is certainly an option, but doing so and then not going to innervate/vigil is odd. I get the theory - Heart of Wild offhealing, but I think vigil and protector accomplish this well-enough without the large point investment. 2) twin moonfire adds a lot of damage, but without the benefit of the arcane healing talent, whats the point? A better choice would be rage. 3) The only other difference I have is rend and tear vs. untamed... I think both are solid choices.

Your 10.5 DoC build looks solid, except for 1 point. Thick hide is absolutely required 2/2. I would personally drop Nurturing instinct to 1/2 for it, but Nature's vigil is also an option. In my testing, nature's vigil provides very little overall healing, and although burst utility is very hard to measure, it just doesn't feeeeel like it's doing anything.

Post 10.5, due to the loss of Rage, Arcane > DoC build for survivability. Rage being locked behind Arcane is a very bizarre design choice.

However, I don't think it's as far-away as most think. Many druids have the "Arcane blinders" on (because, lazers) or are copy-pasting popular builds without looking at these talent synergies.

1. On Survivability, it comes down to Scintilating (AoE 10%) + Rage (AoE 25%) + Maul (single 15%) vs Raze(AoE 15%) and Rend (AoE 6%). I think Arcane wins out because of Rage. Many overlook the survivability of Raze though.
2. DoC has strong group utility, as you mention, but it's also a huge survivability increase for your tanking. One shouldn't discount the fact that DoC is the ONLY purely reactive cd bears can get. That in itself provides a huge boost to survivability.
3. The healing provided by Elune's favored outperforms Ursoc's Fury by about 30%. However, depending on the encounter, up to 50-70% of it is overhealing. In looking at logs (lol), Ursoc's Fury consistently outperforms Elune's favored by 2 to 1 when one ignores overhealing.

Swapping Rage<->Fury of Nature, and Thorns of Iron <->Elune's favored seems like a no-brainer to me. I'm not sure what Bliz was thinking locking Rage and Thorns behind Arcane talents.

The top talent tree states that you grab Twin Moonfire but the tree itself does not show Twin Moonfire as being taken. Which is it? Do we take Twin Moonfire or do we ignore it? Please clarify as it seems you just cut and posted the explanation on top of the talent trees without actually looking at the tree itself. Better to look at the talent tree advice over at Icy Veins as this article seems disjointed and out of date.

Doesn't lunar calling make Ursoc's Fury excellent? With all the arcane damage increases (change out the mangle talents), makes for big thrashes (Untamed Ferocity), therefore big shields. You give up a minute CD on Incarn, but it seems worth it. Who needs a healer?

Flashing Claws is way too expensive, but man that would be fun with this build.

I think at lower gear levels the m+ build would benefit from more defensive talents as the HP plays absolute ping pong below 2 iron fur stacks. I took After the Wildfire and put it into Ursoc's Endurance. Could also repurpose Vicious cycle. So sacrifice dmg or healing.

I also skipped Heart of the Wild as I found myself in Bear 99% of the time except when I accidentally hardcast regrowth and die in casterform. Forest Walk, Innervate and Astral Influence sound like nice alternatives.

I checked out Iron Fur Armor Mitigation for me:
Stacks - Mitigation
0 - 37%
1 - 50%
2 - 60%
3 - 65%
4 - 70%

That's why I decided on Ursoc's Endurance. In between bigger CD's it is a total nightmare to lose these stacks. After the Wildfire amasses a good amount of healing over a run, but it doesn't give my HP the stability I crave - hp ping pong leads to constant heart attack decisions which prob waste more cd's than necessary.

The Guardian druid talent tree import is not accurate.... you have 2 extra talents in the Druid talent tree because Frenzied Regen and Thrash are given and not counted towards your over all talent count. So when importing the trees people are getting 2 talents remaining in the druid tree.
