So you say that virtue has nothing to do with seeing if someone is good or bad BUT what he believes is everything?
Nope I said "Virtue has nothing to do with balancing good with bad." That's called utilitarianism.

You say that god won't accept anyone that doesn't believe in him even if he was a good man?
I've said this so many times already. The lack of acceptance is not in God, it's in the person who chooses not to believe. How is that not obvious?

What if the person that served the evil king had only good intentions and tried to do good?
That doesn't change anything. Good king says come over to my side so you can do good, and the guy said no. He just said no to GOD.

What if a person that served the good king was harming other people?
Then he isn't really serving the good king...he's serving his own intentions. So he too has said no to God.

Also faith/god isn't black and white.
It is.

Crusaders that slaughtered families and killed in the name of the god are saints

Well I know for a fact that you don't know what you're talking about when you say "God" just from what you've written. So your rejection of God is out of ignorance. Now if you have the means of actually finding out what you need to know and you just aren't going to make the effort, then you have a willful ignorance.

So in the end it comes down to if you're choosing to not make the effort or not.

This is where things get interesting: Leviticus 20:1 "The LORD said to Moses" and then the Lord goes on to say penalties for various sins including the ones I posted ie these laws come from God.
God is quite a legitimate authority.

These laws clearly fly under the radar.
What? They're only in the most revered Jewish book.

Since this law comes from the Word of God ie a very legitimate authority, but it violates reason.
Again, how?

Furthermore, if one was to ignore the opening to that chapter and say that the Israelites created this "legal system" then you run into another snag: the fact it is in the Bible.
Or you could go with what I said: A God-given legal system, seeing as they didn't have any other form of gvernmetn to rely on.

When the Church met at the Council of Carthage to determine what books should be in the Bible, they added this legal system into the Bible. Since the Holy Spirit guided this and allowed it and the Council did not forget these laws and did not omit them, then God must want these laws. This means that God lacks reason, is cruel and finally that Church Councils are flawed.
Not if read in relation to the New Testament.

Exodus 32:27 --- And he said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.

Exodus 20:13 ---Thou shalt not kill.
The same way I'd explain that in America soldiers kill despite the fact that there are laws against killing.

Exodus 3: 22 --- But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

Exodus 20:15 --- Thou shalt not steal.
Spoiling is taking things won in battle.

Exodus 20:5 --- You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

Deuteronomy 24:16 --- The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
Exodus doesn't say anything about putting to death. (If they were being put to death there wouldn't be and 3rd and 4th generations).

Hyperspacerebel, you never expand your arguments. Why should Lostguide?

It is actually "Thou shall not MURDER", another little tweak that has occurred along with the term "Hell" that can be found in the Bible.

If the Bible is the absolute truth, how can there be errors in translation?

Addressing translation--you know that's a fallacy.

And, lostguide, I'm honestly not sure what your point is.
