I read the news, but I'm very resistant to believe anything that America has to say anymore.
Except it was the North Koreans who announced it first.
Are you what the society calls "conspiracy theorist"?

I read the news, but I'm very resistant to believe anything that America has to say anymore. They ruined their reputation and nothing they say should be taken as legit. I haven't really heard too much about it, aside from American news. I guess I have reason now to look more into it.
Brittish Broadcasting Station claims that
NORTH KOREA TESTS NUKES
! Evidently the bloody americans weren't making it all up. Capitalist dogs!

Not really, I just don't trust the American gov't whatsoever anymore. It basically bullsh
i
tted its way into a war and lied about its true intent. I forget the exact percentage (it was fairly high), but about 75% of America didn't even know what was going on and I don't mean just because they didn't care. I mean, they didn't know what they were fighting for exactly or even why America went overseas. Half of them couldn't even say whether or not the Middle East had WMDs and I highly doubt they can now.
You're so close to critical thought, but your stifled with overused cliches.
You shouldn't trust the Amercian Government, that's true. But you also shouldn't trust the people who are critical of the US Government. Most of them are just critical of the government for thier own benefit of voice. I can tell just by your arguements that your just parroting the same thing the media and every Rosie ODonnel fan has been repeating for 5 years. The arguement is not all encompassing, applicable, or even relevant. The ends, I will agree with, but the means you are using don't entirely make sense. Dont' trust the government, true, but look domestically for your reasons. The 'War on Terror' is a distraction.

Why does water destroy electric stuff? :D
Water is a conductor, and shorts sensitive electrical equiptment by allowing large amounts of current through areas of the component that would not normally allow it. It's like scrambling an egg.
Ahh, I thought It must have something to do with it's conductorness :D.

You're very strict when it comes to people derailing your threads, lets not derail someone elses.
Amazing.
1) Talking about the believability of the US government does have some bearing on the topic of North Korean responses.
2) You actually brought up that you couldn't trust the US government, not me.
In the end... no matter what I say... no matter what I do... I know that if Gorefiend is the last person to post in a debate thread, it will be directed at me in a negative manner.

I'm not too concerned, the U.S. has sophisticated antimissile technology.
P.S. Water is not a conductor, electrolytes are.
Sophisticated != perfect, it's far from perfect at the moment.
And I already said that water isn't a conductor D:

I have to agree with MyTie on this one...

I didn't know that water had free ions? H is +1 and O is -2. H2 (+2) and O1 (-2) should mean that water doesn't have free ions. I could be very wrong on this. I only know what I read in my spare time, and I have never taken a chemistry class.
Could you explain this further?

This thread is about N. Korea launching a nuke, not about America's credibility.
Self Pwnt?
Edit: I love catching you in these moments.

People forget if one country nukes another it doesn't all revolve around America and North Korea.
As far as I am aware, America has some Nuclear power behind them, so critisising North Korea for testing them is quite hypocritical, in my opinion.
I don't trust any Governments entirely, especially my own with the expenses scandle in parliament at the minute.
